well, tickets are just 3 day passes/1 ticket, as of now and from what i've heard and read around, ticket sales are going well, so pro-rating the tickets seems feasible and craigslist might be of some interest on there but i wouldn't trust much that goes around on that site anyways as far as tix are concerned. i've bought some tickets before using it but its not reliable. especially when it comes to the all mighty festival in california, so many unreliable people selling fake tickets at that time.

I find this particularly troubling. With the 3-day wristbands this year, the above really won't be an option... but I highly doubt 20% of people are ready to ditch Coachella early because they're bored or tired. When you are at the Coachella music festival, towards the end of the day, look for worn out people and offer them $20 for their next day ticket for the music festival. One in five people will sell it to you just to go home or do something else in Los Angeles.
What I don't particularly like is having to wear the same wristband for 3 days. Unless I'm missing something that's how I understand it will be.
This is how every single festival in Europe does it. Bonnaroo uses wristband too. Hell, even Coachella camping and VIP use wristbands. The benefits to this are great too. First, you don't have to worry about loosing your tickets to the other days of the festival while you are there, because your ticket is strapped to your wrist. It will also speed up entry into the festival.

That article was thoroughly ridiculed last year. I think the person who wrote it posted a link to it in here and then kept editing the article as people made fun of it.
ebay.com.
Won't save you that much but it's reliable and safe. I saved $30 on my ticket.

The wristbands that I got at Pukkelpop in Europe were cloth and not plastic..
