Goldfrapp.
I think it's too slick to be Goldfrapp.
I think it's The Golden Filter:

I think Jen is on the right track
Golden Filter is more dance oriented than these videos seem to be. Songs like Solid Gold (which I LOVE) or My Favorite Things make me think they are going to stick with their sort of Italian Disco sound. They did a Cut Copy remix that leans that direction as well. My money is still on Christina.
No way it's Christina. I refuse to believe it. She's no chris gaines.
I find Christina to be a credible pop artist who tries new directions with each record. This would be a completely radical new direction, but I don't know. Whoever it is I want more. I've been watching these videos over and over for the past hour.
That teeth comparison shot is amazing detective work. I'm convinced it's Christina.

I still think that this is the most damning evidence that it's Christina:

I'm sounding like Ron here, but there is now way she's pissing off her pop/r&b fan base. Unless it's a movie tie in and Cher is in those videos somewhere.
Fuck it I have no idea. I like it though.
Ha, at least she's not dumb enough to use autotune for an entire album.

I loved that album.
Edit:
And who knows what she will be using. Everything is very synthetic sounding at the moment. Also, Kanye, unlike Christina, needs the autotune.

Great new Coachella playlist @ http://wp.me/pL8mh-4D check it out!!!
Not a 180, no, but for a hip hop artist to have virtually no hip hop on an album of theirs would be a pretty big change I would say. Also, that album sold like 5 copies total. One to me, one to Valarie and the other 3 to Kanye. I'm just saying that I dont think it is that much of a stretch to see pop artists venture off into new areas.
