I figured your negative feelings must be directly connected to the environment you were in. You were surrounded by film crews and such. I'm guessing there's plenty of negativity bottled up inside when it comes to that shit, but the fact you took the shit and more or less directly in front of them probably implies that any grudge/shame etc you may still be harboring is ready to release.
The last two nights I've dreamt about the lineup announcement. In the first dream there was a sign like a scoreboard where we'd gather and they'd show the act names in lights. In the second dream they had hot chicks in bathing suits pulling the names from a jar and shouting them out. In both dreams Daft Punk made the list.
last nights dream was intense. So i've been clean (off drugs now for 5 months) and in my dream I'm sitting at the Dr's office trying to get on Methadone/Suboxone (had been using both for 3 years) but people keep streaming through the doors and the clinic finally closes down. I find myself sitting in this guys car with 3 other people and the driver then becomes the Dr. and he asks everyone what they want? I tell him subs would be fine and he kicks us out. I then go back into the clinic to get my script and they tell me I have no opiates in my system so they can't give me the script.
I never end up using in any of my dreams - it's always about the chase

Drug dreams are so frustrating. You never get the high. It's the chase, the process, the paraphernalia, and never any satisfaction. It's your disease trying to fuck with your brain.
Great job on 5 months sober. The dreams will continue.
I had frequent relapse dreams during the first 6 months-year of sobriety. However, in mine, I ALWAYS ended up using/drinking. They were horrible horrible dreams because the sense of horror, guilt, remorse and just general "fuck my life I'm fucking up again" was so real that it would take many moments after waking up to realize I HADN'T gotten fucked up. I still get those dreams a handful of times a year.
Oddly enough, there has been a few dreams where I've gotten so high that I swear I physically feel fucked up in the dream, which is weird and slightly entertaining, until the dream takes a turn for the worse.
i dreamt i was a mid-fielder for Stoke City.. we were at our pre-match meeting and everyone was getting pumped up and shouting all these sports cliches.. like "Let's leave everything on the pitch !!"..that kinda crap.. One of the Defenders was this guy from my church and he did most of the shouting, mostly at the other defenders.. i got the impression that they had been playing poorly lately.. There was another mid-fielder who is this small, little nonathletic guy i work with.
I dream that Jack White died, and I was really upset. Also, there was an apocalypse and pod people.
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.
I was walking thru North Hollywood. I don't know why because I tend to avoid the valley. There is a 7-11 on every corner and I go into each one hoping I can find one that still has Pumpkin or Peppermint Latte. In one of the strip malls I find a Mexican Seafood place. Grab a menu for future reference so I will have a place to eat out. Menu is unreadable because it's not real. I wake up. Otherwise it was pretty vivid.

I was at a festival and turned to my left and saw Conan O'Brien, his wife and his son. His son who looked very similar (aside from having red hair) to a child that passed away a year and a half ago. The son walks up to me and I ask if I can pick him up, he nods, then I just held him in my arms for a few minutes crying, with Conan O'Brien and his wife around me. After this I proceeded to hang out with Conan and a few businessmen talking about investments. It was quite strange and it may have been the first time I remember crying in my dreams.
I had one Friday night where this affluent family of Spanish decent had a party at their home. The visit had us taking a small boat trip then up an elevator to the home itself. All of the visitors were gathered in the parlor and the wife began to make a religious and family history kind of speech. At one point during the speech, everything was either talking to someone else or not paying attention. I noticed that she gave a wink to her husband and family with a face that told me “see how easy it is to fool these people?” The speech ended shortly thereafter and we were escorted into an entertainment room that had a 360 view from the top of where they lived. Most of it was ocean, but at some points you could see the boat area and in the not too distant future, you could see the docking area that we left from, along with a variety of boats floating in slips. There was a garden area and at the edge of the garden area was a door on the floor covered with grass. There were stairs that you could take, but the surface then flattened out, like in a canyon, but you were still going down. Two or three other guest and I slowly began to remove people from the party and use exits to try and evacuate the island.
Last night’s dream was on a plantation. I was not the owner, but I was a son or a son in law, or someone related to the family. We apparently ran out of money and the estate, which had been in the family for generations, was to be evacuation that very day. Most of the dream was me walking around the plantation and overhearing conversations or actual dialog with people and myself. There was one person who did not want to pack a box of letters because she swore to herself that she was one day going to respond back to 12 letters that were sent to her and that she was going to begin writing those letters that very day. In another example, an elderly maid was walking back and forth carrying stuff in a hurry to get the job done. I stopped her and apologized for changing her life due to this event. She was so positive and supportive.
There were lots of other details in both dreams, but I have the flu and the pm medicine isn’t helping me retain specifics.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Dreams when you are sick can actually be a truer reflection of your psyche because you wake and fall back to sleep a lot, so details are often more likely to be recalled. You say you don't, but I'd say your dream stories above are pretty detailed.
The first one: Boats can often imply a journey, so considering the context I'd say you are on a journey of cultural guilt. You walk under the guise of an aware and spiritual Hispanic. (That's probably my own projection though.)
The second one: Letters symbolize communication obviously. Being that you are a man with no power walking around hearing other people's conversations, I'd say you recognize that somebody in your life needs to talk with somebody but isn't and you are feeling powerless to encourage them.

Dreams are to be enjoyed, not analyzed. I have "vivid dreams," which are often like epic movie adventures, episodes of Law and Order, or being on stage during concerts.
What are the women like?
I also have lucid dreams - "A lucid dream is any dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming."
I get epic dreams, too.
"Recognizing an Epic Dream
How do you know if your dream is an epic dream? If all of the following applies to your dream, then chances are that it is an epic dream.
1. The dream brings about greater awareness to you, in an unforgettable way.
2. The dream makes you look at life from a fresh new perspective.
3. The dream invokes strong emotions.
4. The dream is extremely vivid and memorable. The images are so provocative that you cannot stop thinking about it.
5. The dream fills you with awe as soon as you wake up.
6. The dream remains with you for years and years as if your just dreamt it yesterday."
Lucid dreams are so frustrating, because if they're traumatizing you fight so hard to get out. When they're good, you will do anything to stay in. Have you learned how to control them?
Epic dreams are uncommon, because most people are not very self aware.
Last night I had a dream where I was sitting on a beach and then two big hawaiian dudes came up to me and started taking me around to all the food carts (our car was parked amongst the tables.) They told me that Hawaiians weren't eating spam anymore because it was imperialist food. Then I woke up.
Bmack, what is your relationship with Hawaii? Vacation, family, work?
