2 Bears: fucking great, man
i enjoyed it
we get poop next week
The Ana Helder "What Club" track in the 2 Bears EM sounds like she's saying "Butt Plug."

"How long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? It doesn't matter, as there can be nothing but gratitude for even a glimpse of what exists for those who can become open to it."
Maceo Plex in a week. I can't wait to see the ridiculous jizzing the board takes over this.

How was Maceo Plex? I missed it.
It was good, not great. Needed more standout tracks.

It was so boring I turned it off halfway through. Sorry Maceo.

I dug it, I dunno.
I'm listening to Maceo right now. so far so good. im more excited for SCUBA this friday. really diggin his stuff lately.
Maceo Plex was hopelessly meh. Scuba should be ace, as always.
Yeah, completely forgettable. I was probably expecting too much, but it did nothing for me.
He's hugely overrated imo. Decent producer at times but I have yet to hear anything approaching a decent dj set.
I felt the same way and really, really did not get how excited people were getting about it (friends posting dozens of times on FB about how wonderful it was). I'm bummed. Not sure I'd even want to see a show now. In retrospect, yea, there has been too much hype and I was expecting too much.
ok after listening 3/4 through it, it really didnt go anywhere.. it was kinda boring :/
an Essential Mix that DOES have longevity is probably Jokers EM...still so good after a few months. anyone know any artists similar to Joker?!
Riddler
Going to have to agree... seems like hes just taking a stab at whats hot right now. Really late on this one, though my friends hype him like he's the greatest, didnt realize he was aka Maetrik. Deff felt dull on his EM, never went anywhere.
Do like his guest mix on Carl Cox's radio show.
as far as EMs go, still have Azari & III on constant.
Penguin
Mr Freeze
L-Vis 1990 is my favorite so far, but there's a lot of time to go obviously lol
I'ma ball at the mall shuttin' down the sea wall
Hah. I didn't realize he was Maetrik. I'm really late on / missed completely the Maceo bandwagon. And that's fine with me.
Yeah, the Maceo EM was extremely dull. I'm not expecting much from Scuba's, either. Streamed his album yesterday and the only track I actually enjoyed was Cognitive Dissonance. He seems to be evolving into a sound I don't really care for.
That album is going to rub many people the wrong way. Living in Berlin has certainly affected his sound; not sure if it's for better or worse. Having said that, I still find him to be a good DJ.
