Fugees over The Police, Fleetwood Mac, and Depeche Mode is pretty nifty too.
Hello my name is Johnny Polite and they are going to kill me...
Burning Hotels 1.14 | The Kills 1.23 | Adam Ant 2.7 | Girls 3.9 | Dr. Dog 3.11 | Neon Indian 3.13 | Andrew Bird 3.15| Band of Skulls 3.17
Here's my 1998. Getting quick now. Down to 4 hrs start ot finish, including names. Comments?
You must not have seen the current lineup. The Gorillaz have only two albums out, but hey I guess you know everything, right? Thanks for the input you seem like a really great person. By the way your posters are great you definitely have a good reason to be commenting on other peoples posters.
Good lord 1996-98 have a ton of entries.
The Glitter Freeze
Coachella 99-10 Vet, the run has ended in 2011
I think the tilted poster was better as an idea than in execution.
I don't say that to be rude... maybe it needs some curling, or staples or tape... something that justifies the tilting. And, as the other person commented.. Sugar Ray is on Saturday and Sunday.... probably two days too many.
Jesus Christ, do you ever make any digital poster images that aren't falling over themselves to show us how inventive you are for making an obviously digital 2D image look like a pathetic photoshop class exercise in adding depth and texture effects? Once is okay, but how many times are you intending to eat that cow?
It's like he's looking at the people who have recently posted theirs and then posting his over them with "better" photoshop skills.
And since that 1998 is in my realm now I will say the photoshop skills are nice but agree with menik your lineup sucks. You have Q-Tip and he didn't even release a solo album until 1999.
I'm also curious as to how we have 7 bands overlapping... on the same fucking day. 17-20 total if you count Sugar Ray's two sets.
Your first two headliners are subheadliners on the exact same days on my poster.
I wouldn't tout how quickly these things take you for obvious reasons.

Moving Garbage to Saturday and Blur to Friday would have made it look like you at least tried to not look at my poster.
Sunday's 7 overlap bands are almost in order compared to mine.
Edit: so nobody has to go back a few pages: http://zacklyke.com/1998weeklymix.jpg
Also when I see Kula Shaker and no Prodigy it makes me think even more... ugh

I am kind of ruffled by this. A serious percentage of your undercard matches mine including a ridiculous amount on Sunday. Mercury Rev is even near the same exact position on my poster.
Two headliners pulled from the same days as my two sub-heads.
You changed A Tribe Called Quest to Q-Tip which doesn't even make sense since ATCQ released their last album in September of 1998. ATCQ is on my Friday, too.
Anyone else agree with me? This is kind of ridiculous.
I've saved his original version just so there's no confusion to my posts in the future.

It's like my poster had a retarded baby doused in glitter.
And I have the original in case he makes any drastic changes to the lineup because that's just silly.
Too bad they didn't just have a link to submit them so we could have avoided these critiques and butt hurt feelings.
For your health
Oh well. Here it is anyway. With edits.
I haven't bothered comparing my posters to later entries, simply because I used the same resources everyone else will... Wikipedia, Billboard, so forth. There's bound to be a lot of overlap.
The contest is for fun! Just keep that in mind...
