Are you allowed to pass things out before the show? I remember a few years ago a company was distributing free white sunscreen held in a round lip balm style container with a rope to hang it around your neck if you wanted to. Since then, I haven't seen folk handing out shit cept at the end of the show with the obnoxious concert fliers. Hate when they 'snap em' loudly like on the the Vegas strip.
Well, if allowed and if I ran a giant corporation, I'd pass out free samples of perfume and cologne beforehand. Something like 'Light Blue' from Dolce & Gabbana (got this for my girlfriend for Christmas and it aint bad. Floral). Even if only ten percent of folks put it on, it would still become the unofficial 'Smell of Coachella'. Afterward people would buy the product to associate the good times and memories they had with it. That's marketing right. Or maybe Paul T. makes his own official scent. Fill it with his essence of the festival. Thinking something spicy and indian even, if indians wore perfumes and deoderants. And, in the future when computer monitors allow smell emissions, you could shoot off a small puff when people logged onto this website ("what is that smell?" "oh, I'm on the Coachella site perusing").
