Damn it Yo La Tengo had better not conflict with Gorillaz.

Actually, this schedule would be perfect for me. King Khan->Owen Pallet->Deerhunter->Sly->Thom Yorke->Pavement->Gorillaz.
The only acts I would really be bummed about missing are Charlotte Gainsbourg and Gil Scott-Heron.
you need to stop babysitting the main stage and get out there more.. lolz
i was just saying that the poster changed A LOT on Sunday, and there was zero discussion about it in this thread.. a rearranging of the Sahara is gonna be necessary at some point
why dont you take a crack at it if you want it dont so bad? Just a suggestion here.
Because he knows we're going to rag on it.
- Caribou @ The Fonda in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 28th
- The Replacements @ The Palladium in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 15th
- Belle & Sebastian + Mac Demarco @ The Fox Theater in Pomona, CA on Thursday, April 16th
6x Coachella Attendee (2007 - 2011, 2014a)
The Glitch Mob
I am neither foxy, nor a lady.
Neil Young - Kanye West - Beck - PJ Harvey - The Knife - Basement Jaxx - Tom Waits - Shpongle (Live) - Flying Lotus (Live) - The Avalanches - Autechre - Eels - Fat Freddy's Drop - Liquid Liquid - OFWGKTA - Freddie Gibbs - Big K.R.I.T. - Phantogram - Christian Scott - Nosaj Thing - Gold Panda - James Blake
would be so sad about jonsi, phoenix and thom yorke/pavement overlapping
i already did take a crack at it, and wrote a rather long explanation of what should be changed.. if i recall correctly, dr lufs wrote the very next post..
EDIT: oh, i'm sorry, 2nd to next post, whose contents were:
"i think it's time for an update"

mute math 3pm according to myspace. i would bet main stage. which is what i had on my list already.
i agree with you MJA, but there simply isn't enough Sahara acts (currently) to fill the schedule..
and the sahara has had the habit of sticking acts in there that shouldn't be, due to being too popular to play the Mojave (MIA, Ting Tings, Ghostland, etc)
I'm going to go with the MUTEMATH at 3 on the Main. Makes sense, they're billed for it too.
(the 5th line has our early main acts. last year it was We Are Scientists, Airborne Toxic Event, Poalo Nutini, Joss Stone, and Okkervil River) There's a definite method to the maddness. I'd say Mutemath is our first strong confirmation.
i still say Mutemath makes more sense in a tent, given their sound..
but i'm sure someone could message them and ask them about their supposed 3pm time...
I was wondering about extra long sets on Sunday, especially for Club 75. If they are only given a 60 minute set, that's like...how many songs per DJ? 2 or 3? That doesn't seem right...
9/21: Khruangbin @ The Independent
9/22: Moon Duo, Cold Beat @ The New Parish
9/24: Dolly Parton @ Shoreline
9/30: Omar-S @ TBA
10/9: Midland, Erika @ The Midway
10/14: Margo Price @ GAMH
10/15: Cymbals Eat Guitars @ Shea Stadium BK
10/16: Anthony Naples, Justin Carter @ Nowadays
10/21: Screaming Females @ The Night Light
10/25: Hiss Golden Messenger @ The Independent
09/28: Nicolas Jaar @ Taub
11/16: Neko Case @ The Fox Theater Oakland
I'm thinkin wait for adds.
I agree that Miike Snow could play the Sahara as a total offshoot.
But the general consensus is that they are not a Sahara act.
..although, there's no Sahara acts listed on the 5th line. So, it's possible... just unlikely.
But for now, I'm thinking they get Lykki Li's spot on the outdoor.
this thread should be a collaboration on how to make the best confilct avoiding set times. that way if goldenvoice people are reading it they can take into account the conflicts we dont want.
thats much better than us sitting around trying to predict the conflicts that are going to happen
