Is it crazy to think that maybe Ra Ra Riot and Vampire Weekend will be back to back so that in between there can be a surprise performance by Discovery, which is made up of members of both?

These ones look pretty good, though I see Grace Jones on the Outdoor maybe and Baroness in the Mojave.

Switch Little Dragon with Deer Tick or P.O.S. because they are billed really low so are likely candidates for an early slot (and a conflict with She & Him would suck).

Maybe the Outdoor would more likely go The Specials->PiL-Echo because a headliner has never conflicted with a reunion.

You guys keep on forgetting how much they like putting those terrible MOR pop acts (to quote Pot) on early in the day on the main stage.

That and The Whitest Boy Alive will be in the Mojave. Right where Hockey is.

Looking at this, seems that they'll either add some Sahara acts or put Grace Jones in there during LCD Soundsystem. 8 acts is too few.

I figured The Specials and PiL wouldn't conflict with Jay-Z since reunions never conflict with headliners, and neither would Grace Jones. Fever Ray is okay because they're an esoteric rare act that has to play at night because of their setup, anyway.

I think the Outdoor might be something like Specials -> Echo -> LCD Soundsystem, with PiL at sunset on Main. Don't take that as a swap suggestion though, but I don't think LCD will play Main.

I'd switch Wale/Passion Pit

I'd also switch Baroness/Whitest Boy

La Roux will probably play later on in the Sahara. Maybe around 7-9ish.

okay, first Johnny Marr's band, The Cribs would NOT be on that early..

Pablo Hassan is the last name on the poster, he's opening the Sahara, wtf were you thinking..

put Echo & The Bunnymen on last and move Public Image & The Specials back one slot, that looks more realistic (and puts The Specials in the sunset slot, which makes the most sense)

i think the Gobi & Mojave look about right, particularly the placement of Dillinger, but they could easily be closing that stage, with Grace Jones in their slot.. (the more i thnk about it, the more that makes sense, considering they put different genres during the headliner)

Look at how awkward that is. A bunch of ravers aren't going to be receptive to that kind of change-up sandwiched between straight DJs. Her more somber, emotive material wouldn't fly. As a matter of fact, I can see Grace Jones and Fever Ray closing out the mojave as a 1-2 punch of win!

The Grace Jones->Fever Ray combination is interesting. But would someone that sold out the Hollywood Bowl play the Mojave? Then again, she is billed pretty low.

If that's the case then perhaps an outdoor slot would be more appropriate. The Mojave struck me as being pretty big last year and Grace Jones is a pretty niche act. I don't know, the Sahara is just like, "waaa?"

I love these set times. I do have a feeling The Avett Bros. will be on the outdoor theatre, but maybe that is just me. And Yeasayer vs. Them Crooked Vultures would suck, but I could deal.

All the really matters to me Friday is that I can see The Specials, The Avett Bros., Yeasayer and PiL. And this schedule did exactly that. Good job.

I really can't see the four rare acts playing up against each other. I think The Specials will be on the outdoor at sunset with P.i.L. after them. I do think it will be Grace=> Fever Ray, possibly the other way around, closing the Mojave.
