I didn't think the Outdoor night spot suited them nearly as well as when I saw them play Treasure Island at sunset. That's still like in my top 10 performances of all time. So I'm hoping for Main next time around.
There really is no way they will play the main during sunset. They most definitely could, but I don't see GV giving them that time slot. By no means do I think that a magical sunset slot for Beach House would work in any of the tents. I say iffy about the outdoor because the past 2 years they have had those slots reserved for band such as Neutral Milk Hotel, Belle & Sebastian, Ryan Adams, Neko Case, etc. Also, I'm more of the hopes that the time slot goes to someone like Fiona Apple next year, over a band such as Beach House.
Beach House needs a night spot for their staging to work. That 8:00ish Outdoor spot they had in 13 was ideal.
I have been to concerts. I will go to concerts in the future.
AC/DC and Steely Dan? Why not just get a Don Henley project on the poster so my dad can bring his R/V, his fourth wife, and make a day out of the damn thing?
Beach House on the Outdoor stage around sunset: perfect.
Kaskade feat. Skrillex feat. Tiesto feat. Darude feat Dj Snake playing the Sahara at the same time.
That'll keep everyone towards their respected corners.

Always appreciate new good music but I'm still digging into their last album
"HIGH END RAP MUSIC! GHETTO STADIUM SHIT! THEY AIN'T WANT US AT THE FESTIVALS
NOW WE WILL RUN THEM!"
Crazy that they just threw out another album. I find it slightly difficult to differentiate their sounds throughout the album. I "get" their dream-pop genre, I've just come to listen to it as background music at work than something to sit and go through every track.
