Heck yes! Always a good show, and long overdue for a Coachella slot if you ask me.
I can't wait to see him... I wish it was PRIMUS though!
should be fun...as long as Gabby La La isn't there to ruin it.
Should be an interesting show, I'm not the hugest Primus fan but the thought of a Les show intrigues me.
it would be even better if Primus was performing but this is cool though. Les Claypool is an amazing performer.
Does anyone know if Les plays Primus stuff when he performs solo??
usually he'll do a Primus song or two but it will sound nothing like the original
I'm wondering which band he'll be coming with
Either way, I plan on being there unless he's conflicting with Devo or something.
let's just hope theres no conflict with z-trip and claypool
What happen if someone make a crime?
i saw Les Claypool headline *********, and i think it's a better live set than Primus.. sure, i prefer Primus tracks, but Claypool solo is a fucking face melt of bass
When I saw Primus is 2006, for an encore they came out with one song. A 20 minute jam of American Life. I wasn't on any drugs, but I felt like my mind was being altered. I highly doubt Les Claypool solo could do anything like that to me.
With that being said, the man is incredible and I will, most likely, be at his set.
I completely forgot he was on the lineup.
Does he still play with the Frog Brigade? That would be insanity...regardless, I will be there.
The Replacements - OutKast - The Knife - HAIM - Bonobo - Afghan Whigs - The Glitch Mob - The Cult - Shlohmo - Waxahatchee - Wye Oak
Queens of the Stone Age - Pharrell Williams - Pet Shop Boys - Empire of the Sun - Fatboy Slim - Nas - Kid Cudi - Warpaint - Mogwai - Foxygen - The Dismemberment Plan - Blood Orange
Arcade Fire - Beck - Neutral Milk Hotel - Disclosure - Motorhead - Duck Sauce - Little Dragon - Toy Dolls - Fishbone - Superchunk - Daughter - Surfer Blood
as long as he is not conflicting with anyone i care to see, i will def be there. he always puts on a great show. i remember smoking with him and skerik the first night, of my first jam cruise, before we even disembarked from ft lauderdale!!!
2007: Coachella, Voodoo
2008: Bonnaroo, ACL
2009: Jam Cruise, Bonnaroo, Voodoo
2010: Jam Cruise, Coachella, Sasquatch, Nocturnal, Voodoo
2011: Nocturnal, Fun Fun Fun Fest
2012: Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Fun Fun Fun Fest
2013: TomorrowWorld, ACL
Too bad it's not Oysterhead. I've never heard his solo stuff, just Primus and Oysterhead, will plan to check him out barring conflicts.
2013 = Coverchella
2011 = Perfectchella
He will usually just do solo and Frog Brigade material and maybe tease some Primus or play a full song, but I wouldn't hold my breath for anything great his last touring band was really underwhelming
these live clips on Kimmel look very promising indeed
saw les claypool tonight in amsterdam, was awesome! he kept on going off stage and the chelloist was lost for a while but for the rest it was a good set.

I cannot wait to see Les Claypool! I really hope he does decided to play a Primus song though, would be soo tiight!
Jay Lane is leaving Furthur to play drums with Primus again so I wouldn't be surprised if he's at Coachella.
