I completely forgot you were a fan, Chris. I will be sure to include you in all things Apparat that I stumble upon in the future!
Awesome. Yeah I'm not that vocal about it, nor do I participate in the Apparat-related threads much.

I love everything I have ever heard from bpitch control. Can anyone recommend any artists, other than the well-known ones, from the bpitch roster that are worth checking out?
RAPE STOVE
white power?!
didn't have that set, thanks unknown!
WTF?
Apparat Band? This just got interesting.Just to explain: "Apparat Live" is a solo club show with Pfadfinderei visuals. The show at LEV Festival end of April will be the last Apparat solo show for quite a long time.
"Apparat Band" will be a new band and a new set! And don't worry, we'll play in your city. Sooner or later![]()
four piece band... a la trentemoller
Rhythm is a dancer.

What was Apparat like in Lightning in a Bottle? He was with a band at the Knitting Factory back in 2008. How does this differ?

Yep, it was pretty great. It was a three piece group with Apparat switching off between guitar (or bass... can't remember) and his electronic get-up. The setlist was really heavy on his Walls album with a couple of other older tracks thrown in. I think the show pre-dated his collaboration with Moderat (at least the full album), so we didn't get any of that. One of the other dudes in the band who played guitar or bass did all of the singing. I never saw one of his solo shows, so I can't compare the two unfortunately.

I've listened to a set of the band performing mostly Walls tracks and I've watched a lot of videos of them as well and it's completely different from what he did at LiB. His LiB set was very similar to his Droga do Mekki or DJB Livecast set - just like Ryan said - lots of his tracks, Moderat, Ellen Allien, etc mixed flawlessly. Most of his sets I've downloaded are like that except for the recent Paris recording and his DJ Kicks.
his sets last year contained a mix of stuff off walls, his other two albums, moderat stuff, stuff he did with ellen allien, and lots I still don't recognize. and they were fucking awesome.
