Because Zack is a cool guy that a lot of people know, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I don't have a problem with Birds Vs Worms taking issue here, since this is where he met Zack, and Zack isn't answering his emails/calls. I'm sure/I hope there is a good explanation for the issue.

I'd rather not be forced to pay a higher price for the exact same room just because my request happened to be number 26, you know?
I agree with Becca; it seems like the plan would net a small amount of extra money but would cause considerable frustration for the customers purchasing the rooms.

ATP gets an extra $1,000, people who are late to purchase lose $250 each. I too disagree with this plan.. Even though I bought ASAP, I still find it unfair that people who can't commit immediately would have to cover costs for other people with little gain for ATP in the end

Anybody know if Pitchfork filmed anything at ATP this year?

i was talking to gustav from dungen and he was so so excited about seeing cool herc and the gza. he said he brought his turntables with him and i think he mentioned that he filmed something with that in one of the rooms. don't know if it was for pitchfork or not.

I enjoyed the room tapings last year especially the Melvins. I don't remember how long after ATP they were on Pfork, though.

Thank you Courtney, though I'm humbled by your skills with a camera. My current approach is have my point and shoot with me and keep pushing the button. Works sometimes, though.

Kinda looks like tickets went on sale late November last year. Man, a Jamie post would really come in handy here.

    New idea: Lydia Lunch curating.

She has collaborated with Thurston/Kim/Sonic Youth, Nick Cave/Rowland S. Howard/The Birthday Party, Marc Almond (of Soft Cell), Steven Severin (of Siouxsie and the Banshees), Michael Gira, and Brian Eno. Sounds good to me.

It would be AWESOME. Her ethos seems like it would fit really well with the ATP aesthetic. Only, you know, more boobs.

I was thinking the same thing until I looked up when ATP NY was announced last year. I hope it's after Christmas financially, though.

I suppose ATP may is only a few weeks late in announcement, might be sooner than expected.. pavement having been announced on oct 7. i'd prefer a slightly later announcement personally, agreeing that if it came out maybe mid january or early february that'd be nice... having said that i'm not quite patient enough to stand by that statement

Also not sure what it's worth but I inquired if there would be a US atp membership which included NY tickets. They said it isn't planned but it's possible - which is a much better response than "there won't be another ATP NY"

5 in a 6 berth worked out nicely in terms of space, although I would've much rather had the original 6. Sigh.

Unless you too would have strewn fake hair all over the bathroom. In which case no one wins.
