She just rubs me the wrong way with that shit. She mentioned a Werner Herzog documentary in a live show I was listening to on the radio, which had nothing to do with anything. It might just be me, but dropping names like that all the time and doing shit like that just seems very self-indulgent.
I probably had to be there for the Werner Herzog reference, but the Costello thing I just saw as her paying tribute/showing her admiration.
Los Campesinos! on Letterman
Cults on Fallon
Ringo Starr on Ferguson
The Horrors on Carson
Edit: And Bjork on Colbert!
Wow...that should be very interesting (Bjork).
As always...thanks, Chris!
Bon Iver is going to do SNL this Saturday, and is going to play "Beth/Rest," partly in tribute to Lenny Pickett.
Yes. We’re going to do this, motherfuckers. It’s not irony.
I was viewing the SNL Justin Timberlake Bon Iver spoof on Rolling Stone's site and saw that Jack White is SNL musical guest for 3/3.
The Shins on SNL tonight. Hopefully my low expectations are incorrect.
Heck yeah, I forgot I set that to record a few days ago. For the past few years bands' appearances on Carson are songs filmed from local shows, but I seriously seriously doubt they had their camera crew at the Chasm a few weeks ago, haha.
I'm watching an SNL rerun with Katy Perry as the host and Robyn as the music guest. I LOVE Robyn!
Thee Oh Sees on Carson Daly again tonight. I'm guessing it's another song from their SXSW performance.
Tennis on Letterman
oh and uh PULP ON FALLON
Girls on Conan tonight! Solid.
Oh and if you like mom rock, Jason Mraz is on Kimmel.
Ben Kweller on Conan
The War on Drugs on Letterman!
Melvins on Carson
El-P on Letterman
and I guess Tenacious D on Fallon, if you like one trick pony kinda stuff that lost its appeal shortly after it started.
