I thought BHaR had a few good songs, and the rest was completely forgettable. I totally love the special edition because it included the live dvd. Did not love how "Citizen Erased" was left off the dvd for no reason.
They busted out Citizen Erased when I saw them at the Forum in '07, it was incredible and the best thing I've seen them do live.

Yeah, Citizen Erased at the Forum was pretty amazing. That is easily one of their best songs.
Matt - "...every time the vocals kick in in 'United States of Eurasia' it just makes me fucking laugh every time."
Regarding the Queen bit, Dom - "We thought that was too good to take out, so we left it in."
Chris - "I think when people hear the album some of the lyrics are quite serious but bits of it are more tongue-in-cheek."
I didn't think that they could make an album worse than Black Holes... but if their first single is any indication, they're swinging for the shitty album fences.
*based upon tedious fact checking.
36 seconds of the new single 'Uprising', Sounds pretty good.
Sounds like the Dr Who theme song. Or, Jean Michel Jarre.
Upcoming shows:
Sounds fucking awesome, and I'm 100% sure it will be.
I'm getting nervous...
Uprising will be premiered in full on radio on August 3rd (Monday). Be prepared to have your minds blown...
Gosh fucking dammit, that sounds like shit! Right from the first few seconds, the rhythm sounded like that shitty Fall Out Boy song "I Don't Care" which itself was a rip-off of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus".
In my book that's 0/2 with these songs that have leaked. I really hope the rest of that song, and more importantly the album are a little more impressive than the sneek peaks we've gotten thus far.![]()

Yeah, these songs sound pretty shitty so far. Dammit.
Here's the shitty Fall Out Boy song I'm referring to:

I'd rather not. Thanks, though, TallGuy.
Solid contribution. Truckee must be really proud of its residents.
Here it is "Uprising"

I love it!
I don't know what to make of it upon first listen, it's not terrible. But it almost sounds like some other band making fun of Muse.

Why am I hearing a bit of Marilyn Manson in this song? No matter. I don't particularly like it, but it sounds like one of those songs that will be much better live than on record. I don't have very high hopes for this album.
The drum beat kinda reminds me of Disposable Teens by Marilyn Manson. I think its a great first single. We'll see how the album shapes up.
