Their set was great. I've seen them before and they're always fun live. The crowd looked like they were loving it too.

Yeah! Last time I saw them it was good, but indoors and too loud. This time the sound matched the performance.

too much bass in the beginning, but i thought it was an amazing set, they still have their sound problems here and there. Vocals drowned out a couple times. perfect time to see them, i love their ending with staring at the sun, was my first time seeing them at coachella, missed them last time in 06.

I thought TVOTR was great! Really enjoyed the set and the whole crowd was feeling the good vibes.
If we're lucky something will happen. Some adversity will happen and something unexpected will happen and you'll get tired and you'll get hungry, you'll have trouble going to the bathroom, and you'll lose your car keys, and all these wonderful things will add up to some powerful experience that 10 years from now we'll say "We lived, we lived." - Wayne Coyne on Coachella

Seen them three times now, and this was by the best. An emotional, powerful set.

set list, please? So I can get more upset that it took me 30 minutes to walk from our car all the way around the venue to the main entrance while hearing them over the tree tops. DAMN. Bet they fit perfectly with the sun set hour, and bet they sound great outdoors (they did in th 2 songs I caught in '06).

You guys are on crack, they were terrible! I've seen them 3 times, and this was by far one of the worst shows they have done. I guess beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. But I thought this was one of their worst performances.

i'd give them a 7/10. I love tv on the radio, but they didn't play much material, they had waaay too much bass in the mix and my fav song from the new record ''Crying'' sounded horrible live.

Oh, I loved the bass. I was so glad they were hitting the notes they were down there.. it was driving directly into my soul.

But yeah, we really missed "Lover", too.

completely agree. bass drowned the hell out of everything else. it was silly at times how the bass just completely took over

A great set at sunset. I remember someone on stage saying 'We're gonna bring down the sun!'...Such an awesome band.

i actually heard a couple of chords to family tree and immediately flipped the fuck out, and then right after that i got sad that it wasn't being played, but that said hearing young liars never ever gets old, but i do wish they would have played ambulance to close out the set just like in '06...

. . . the best performance I saw Saturday. "Young Liars" and "Staring at the Sun" to close. win.

also, 2006 TVOTR and 2009 TVOTR are two completely different bands.

sbessiso is being brainwashed by this message board to watch music (s)he normally wouldn't. I'm for it.

TVotR was my most-looked-forward-to act on Saturday and I was a little disappointed, because of said bass problems. I love bass, but not when it drowns out the vocals, the horns, what have you. "Crying" did not work...at all. Anyone who says differently was obviously dropping acid.

I left as Dancing Choose was starting to get a good spot for my next most-anticipated act, Fleet Foxes, but I believe I saw the vast majority of the set. It wasn't terrible, but I wasn't ecstatic about what I had seen. Waiting for Outside Lands.
    Ron Paul 2012!

    Upcoming Shows:
    Four Tet
    Coachella 4/20-4/22
Death Cab for Cutie/Magik Magik Orchestra
    Radiohead
    some other bands
