2005, Jamie Cullen outside stage around noon...covered radiohead's high and dry with a little bit of paranoid android in the middle.
sitting through a Jack Johnson headliner with special guests counting crows, ben harper, and dave matthews with a midget sitting on my lap ....a retarded midget with drool driping down my leg as he claps to the curious george song as i hold his lolly pop, while MIA's dj blasts horn noises in my right ear while staring at a 3rd addition of the tesla coils while the group of guys with g strings fart in my left ear > Kanye West
If my memory serves me right, then then the Section Quartet was on pretty much every stage in '04... so I'm going to have to go with... the Sounds. It was also my first taste of the ferocious Coachella sunshine which I've come to adore. BTW SQ need to come back in '10.
Ozomatli in 2001. Followed by the Roots and Rahzel. Good first experience, but I learned to stay indoors until after 4 during this Coachella. I had heat exhaustion and missed most of the Jane's Addiction kick awesome show in the evening.
