Perfect sound. "I Can't Stand It" and "I Got You" were amazing. And that was the most explosive version of "Shot in the Arm" I've heard yet.

13 minutes of ambient noise in that version?

I'm happy to hear all 3 LA shows were great for their own reasons. Here's to SB being a good balance between them all!

Nah, like 2 minutes, but it worked as an awesome lead-in to Art of Almost. After how good these shows have been, I'm seriously considering doing SB as well. We'll see.

Bro and I have 6th row aisle on Nels side for SB. We are very excited.

I like the idea of Less Than You Think > Art of Almost a lot.

    From via Chicago:

A good, solid ending to this week's Los Angeles run with some amusing banter and, once again, some pretty nice variety in the setlist...

From what I understand, this was the first concert in the LA Theatre in a long time following a renovation. If so, kudos to those responsible for that. It's a beautiful room (the bathrooms were something to behold as well, with old-school touches like marble urinals and a shoeshine area in the men's and, I'm told, a mirrored parlor and very spacious stalls in the ladies') and sounded quite nice. Not sure it's the best venue for a rock concert, but it definitely provided a nice contrast to the Hollywood Palladium and the Wiltern. Jeff mentioned that the audience members could definitely stop worrying about being the smartest people to ever set foot in the venue since apparently Albert Einstein attended the opening-night festivities — a screening of Charlie Chaplin's "City Lights"— in 1931.

As for the setlist, I personally enjoyed Black Moon segueing into Side With The Seeds, which flowed perfectly. And the acoustic Spiders was a nice surprise. Radio Cure had kind of a funny moment in the middle when someone started playing out of key or something and it almost looked like Jeff was going to stop the song, but the band somehow held it together. Anyone else notice that?

I'm pretty sure Standing O was on the printed list in the encore but was audibled out of, with Red-Eyed>I Got You replacing it because Jeff said they—or at least he—had played it "like dogshit the other night at the Palladium."

Here was the complete setlist, as played, for night 3 in LA:

    Less Than You Think>
    Art Of Almost
    I Might
    Black Moon>
    Side With The Seeds
    Spiders (Kidsmoke) (acoustic arrangement)
    Born Alone
    Radio Cure
    Impossible Germany
    Shouldn't Be Ashamed
    Open Mind
    Whole Love
    Hate It Here
    Can't Stand It
    The Late Greats
    Heavy Metal Drummer
    Dawned On Me
    A Shot in the Arm
    -----------------------------
    Reservations
    Handshake Drugs
    You Never Know
    Walken
    Red-Eyed and Blue>
I Got You (At The End of the Century)
    I'm A Wheel

Yeah, the two songs I most wanted to hear were Can't Stand It and Spiders (Kidsmoke). I didn't expect Handshake Drugs. So so happy.

Didn't know my seats were gonna right next to Kline's amp, it goes without saying it was absolutely insane hearing him rip. I wasn't expecting it, but this might be my concert of the year already. Hate it Here > I Can't Stand It was amazing as was the solo for Impossible Germany. Got a setlist too! Great night.

I really dug the venue last night too - perfect for that type of show. I was dragging (flew in from Spain Thursday night) so I didnt mind the sitting at first - was a good change of pace. Once the show got going through everyone was rocking out. I would like to see more stuff there - I have now seen shows there, the Palace across the street and of course the Orpheum. Really cool places most in the city dont know exist. Bonus points too for letting people bring drinks into the auditorium unlike the Pantages...

Hey so I'm late posing this, but I got a setlist at night 1 at the Palladium. They changed up the songs at the end:

    Art of Almost
    I Might
    Bull Black Nova
    Red Eyed and Blue
    I Got You
    Born Alone
    You Are My Face
    Impossible Germany
    Kamera
    Must Be High
    Always In Love
    Jesus Etc
    Capitol City
    Handshake Drugs
    War On War
    Dawned On Me
    Hummingbird
    Shot In The Arm
    ----------------
    Via Chicago
    Whole Love
    Candy Floss
    Standing O
    I'm A Wheel
    ---------------
    Passenger Side
    California Stars

    That's what they had printed.

Wowwwww my friend was so sad they didn't play Cali Stars... I'm a Wheel > Passenger Side> Cali Stars would have been a great ending... But I loved The Lonely 1, and I've never heard it live.

But Monday into Outtasite was awesome. It's amazing when a band has this many good songs. Each night was so different yet so amazing.

    Impressive

I just counted them up and I get 57 different songs played over the three nights. By my count, six songs were played all three nights: Art Of Almost, I Might, Born Alone, Dawned On Me, Whole Love and Impossible Germany.

That's ok, they were fucking incredible anyway. Jesus ect., Handshake Drugs, Art of Almost, and Shot in the Arm were the highlights for me. Since they change their setlist so often it's just more reason to see them again.

The show in SB last night was awesome! They played She's A Jar that I requested for my brother since its his favorite song of theirs! So many great moment. Opening with Reservations>Art of Almost was superb, the nothings of Misunderstood were crushing, the new songs like I Might, Standing O, & Whole Love were all insanely fun, and the past tunes from all their albums like Heavy Metal Drummer, Shot in The Arm & Handshake Drugs just can't be beat. It was SUCH an excellent show. And Nels Cline is my new hero.

Pretty confident they played their setlist as is, except they closed with Hoodoo Voodoo instead of I'm A Wheel (which I also requested, but alas there is always next time Hoodoo Voodoo was quite a closing celebration though!

I will go to every Wilco show I can from now on. Totally floored.

Yeah I've loved Wilco and understood they are amazing...but damn, I will always see them probably multiple times per tour now. What a awesome show. So many songs I wanted to hear and I have loved by them.
