I don't think they increase... I would only be worried about the Sonic Youth day selling out... even then it probably won't sell out until the week of (I think it did the day of last year, and that was the first time it ever sold out).
I'm gonna buy mine as a precaution if the bank account allows... but I wouldn't stress about it (you'll be able to get them the day of in some capacity I'm sure).
From Consequence of Sound:
I'm excited for the Devil Makes Three, they were a lot of fun at the inaugural Treasure Island Fest.5/6 - Confirmed: Maximo Park, Women, The Devil Makes Three, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground

Day-by-day line up have been anounced as well as some additional acts. Saturday is awful. Sunday headliners are awful with a stong undercard and Monday headliners are awesome with a completely forgetable undercard.
There are some $25 single day tickets too. Im tempted to go Sunday and Monday. But every act I would want to see, I have already seen before. A few of em will probably play Vancouver too. Im gonna have to pass.
I think I'm still in, I rarely go see the headliners anyway. It's more an excuse to visit Seattle than anything else for me.
We regret to inform that The Ting Tings and Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan have cancelled their appearances at Bumbershoot.
I'm still trying to figure out why David Cross is under arts and not comedy.
Arrrggh. I was actually looking forward to each of those.
Black eyed Peas, Metric and Soulsavers featuring Mark Lanegan has been aded.
Looks like they are still trying to find a decent sized band to slot in for saturday evening performance before Sheryl Crow.
As well as find some day time headliners for sunday afternoon.
I'm down to see Metric. I'm actually thinking of just going to the last two days, but I'm not sure yet, I may still go with the three day pass.

I really hope Modest Mouse/Franz Ferdinand anounce a show together in Vancouver before or after Bumbershoot. I also hope No Age and Holy Fuck anounce Vancouver shows that do no conflict with said Modest Mouse/Franz Ferdinand show.

I saw Modest Mouse in Vancouver at the Queen E theatre in 2005. #5 on my list of best shows of all time. Incredible.
Also, I saw Holy Fuck in Vancouver in Febuary 08 and they were fucking awesome. A Place To Bury Strangers opened that show too. That was a good show.
You guys do realize that Holy Fuck was in B'town a mere two days ago, right?

Yea, I know. But still...I feel guilty that I'm probably going to end up skipping them tonight. It's 5PM and I haven't had lunch yet.... not usually a good sign

Today I purchased my tickets to Sunday and Monday (Saturday's music line up just doesn't interest me).
I'd like to know why the single day tickets are $25 and the three day pass is $80?

That's the "Insider Deal" price for single day. Eventually they go up to $50.
If you registered on the website they offered an early bird "Entertainment Stimulus Package" $60 for 3-day passes at the very beginning of the year, but those are gone. That was such a good deal.
Looking forward to Monday for sure. Modest Mouse & Franz Ferdinand are a pretty sweet combo for $30 after fees. Metric is also playing that day but will probably be conflicting on a side stage, meh.
