No I think the guy has a point, at one point I had to stop myself in the theater from singing "Demons dreaming, Breathe in Breath in." Seriously guys, listen to this and tell me you didn't start singing about your shadow.
Somebody brought Godsmack up last summer or something, and I went back to their catalog to see if anything was even decent. Not. I remember liking "Voodoo" for about 10 minutes before I realized they were to Alice in Chains what Silverchair is to Pearl Jam.
Back to Tool - saw the NoHo School of Rock kids do a "NIN vs. Tool" show a week or two ago, and the Tool stuff was very strong. Definitely worth seeing, even though they dumbed down a couple drum parts (based on which kid was playing when). At their best, they were terrific.
