Dammit Tom, upload that sucker for me. I'm missing both "Stars too small" and the Australian Tour cd "Overboard and down"... There's a 4-6 week waiting period for "Overboard and Down" on Amazon and I couldn't find it at Waterloo Records in Austin, though I got "The President's Dead" single on vinyl from there. Point is, I'd be indebted to anyone who could either bballarl one of those to me or just ul. If I have something that someone doesn't have, I'll trade, so request.
hey guys. preorder for Stage Names is now available via the bands label, Jagjaguwar. it's $11 and the first 700 or that order the "deluxe edition" will include the regular album, plus a 2nd CD that includes solo demos of the songs from the album.
this is also available via insound, amazon, etc, but the band makes more money from the sales made directly through the label, and most likely you will receive it faster if you order direct from Jagjaguwar.
Friday August 31 - Congress 22nd Birthday - Labor Day Weekend - Tucson Music & Film Festival

**The class of 1990 featuring Tucson expatriots The Supersuckers, Pollo Elastico and many others
**The class of 2000 featuring the final show ever for The Weird Lovemakers and many others
** a presumptous look ahead to the class of 2010 featuring the absolute best emerging talent the old pueblo has to offer.
ALSO: **Howe Gelb hosts a cast of allstars for the 10th Anniversary of Rainer’s Inner Flame record!
**Al Perry leads another cast of Allstars through Tucson’s greatest guitar hero telecaster throwdown
**Great national acts like Okervil River, The Bellrays, Ian Moore & many more
** must-see indie films all weekend long
Keep checking the website for details & advance tickets. We expect oh about 40 great acts, a dozen cool films, two great BBQ's, and alow ticket price.
This will be a weekend to stick around for!
And Magnolia Electric on the 11th as well as Greyhound Soul's CD Release Party on the 14th. I will be at all three. Add in Devendra, Animal Collective, Rodrigo y Gabriela, etc and I would say it's shaping up to be a pretty fine fall.
