Last year there were at least twice that many, added up until fairly close to the event. They all play at least two full sets throughout the weekend too, so you can basically see every band.

It says those are 15 out of 40 total. Adding to what Drinkey said, I guess the artists just walk around like at ATP

TPOTR is really good this year, even though they're charging. Already have my ticket, so many good bands.

I don't think they're very popular around here, but I'm really enjoying the recent Between The Buried And Me EP, The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues

Really, if you like Colors, you ought to really like their last few albums. Alaska is a masterpiece.

I don't think any of their other albums are better than The Silent Circus.

Well this is one fuckin' awesome reason to ditch OSL... I accidentally requested this day off to see High On Fire in Oakland, got my days mixed up. All these goodies in just 1 day? I'm coming for you LA! Also, Black Breath opened for Converge when they were in town last year, the first time i ever saw an opener out perform a headliner.

Additions to MDF X, makes me not feel bad about missing Roadburn. It was between this, Hellfest or 70k Tons, I've made my choice.

    Godflesh (exclusive US show)
    Electric Wizard
    Winter
    Tsjunder
    Autopsy
Napalm Death (would be neat if J Broadwick showed up for this)
    Eyehategod
    Noothgrush
    Rwake
    Deviated Instinct
    Cough
    Coke Bust
    Infernal Stronghold
    Backslider
    Castevet
    Disma
    Sargeist
    Horna
    Nasghul

mastodon's latest song "Curl of the Burl". not as heavy as their previous song and kinda radio friendly. i'm hoping the final album is heavier than this.

I was just searching StubHub and saw Down is doing a show in Anaheim 9/10.

The 2nd concert I ever went to was Pantera at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC in 1999. Not knowing any better I made the mistake of getting up against the rail and really got battered in that pit. I saw Pantera a 2nd time in New Haven, CT in what I think was 2001.

I've never seen Down. I always liked them way more than any of the other Pantera side projects. Even though I don't listen to much metal anymore I think I'm going to hit this up.

Go for it. Down has been good the 2 times I have caught them. Phil was on point both times. I'm more of a fan of his other band, Superjoint Ritual.
