Overall I was sort of mixed on this show - openers didn't do anything for me, the crowd was an annoying mix of 10% trying to start their own little mosh pit, and another 10% roving the floor for something they dropped, and the bass was just blown out beyond reason. But QOTSA took the stage and the sound was perfect. They had a good set, but their encore was just insane. Haven't rocked out that hard at a concert in a long time. My Health App says I did over two miles worth of hopping during QOTSA's set alone.
Man, that setlist is incredible. I would've killed to see that.

The show was awesome - the floor had a ton of legit fans (props to the Pulp Fiction couple that was rocking out with us) and the sound was great...for Queens. Which is kind of all that mattered, but I felt like the sound was not ideal for The Kills (but their costumes were awesome when they came out in the dark...female singer in glow-in-the-dark PJs and facepaint). Going as Wayne/Garth was definitely the most common costume of the night, saw at least 10 others (we were also dressed up as this). Nick's presence on those songs was so fun, Auto Pilot was a highlight. Unforgettable show.
Blackout - not so much. Don't have too much frame of reference from the actual ones they do but this one was...not that scary? Just a bit gross.

Last night was just the best. Probably the best Queens' show I've ever seen minus the Halloween Greek show in 2003. Setlist was belligerently amazing. Slightly bummed that The Kills' sound was kind of fucked. I enjoyed them, though. I love that at both QOTSA halloween shows it has rained. It just feels right.
