I just hope this Rolling Stone article (in which Adam even controversially confesses a Kris Allen crush, saying, "He's the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty, and totally my type--except that he has a wife") helps more than it hurts. I don't want Adam to forever be known as just the "Gay Idol." He's so much more than that.
Lady Gaga was on the cover? Either i'm getting to be totally out of it or RS is fading as the paramount of culture it once was. Maybe a lot of both. It's weird to have an Idol contestant on the cover without having put out an album yet. Sure he has had more exposure than many who have been on the cover, but my old brain still processes that you have to earn that cover by having a major impact on music. i know that hasn't been the case since Brittney made her way onto the covers for being hot, but my brain still fights the shallow cover reward in the attempt to sell magazines. Good for Adam he made the cover. i don't think he should have at this point in time; and it shouldn't be for "coming out".
