ok, I am not saying this thread is right...and I'm not saying that but the guy DID say the Killers would be playing Saturday......just sayin' putting it out there...
Amy Winehouse is also confirmed.
they are trying to get Paul McCartney for Sunday.
public enemy strongly rumored.

i thought amy winehouse died
This guy is legit, I am calling it that he called it
Stevie Wonder, Jurassic 5!!, Magnetic Man, Pogo, Tycho, Tears for Fears 2013
Street Scene 07,08,09
Rock the Bells 07
I think there's a better chance of McCartney. Oh man, Neil Young -> McCartney would be epic Sunday. And Saturday can be the KROQ day with The Killers and maybe the White Stripes and Friday the indietastic day with Morrissey and Pavement.
8/4 DJ Windows 98 @ The Echo, 8/11 La Luz @ Echoplex, 8/20-23 Green Man Festival, 8/28 The Black Ryder @ The Roxy
I'm trying not to go along for the ride on most of these rumors.. but I'm trying really hard to fight the urge to jump aboard the Radiohead bandwagon...
I could see them being the saving grace for the lackluster/strange headliner situation we've got going on.
This guy is looking more and more legit with the possible McCartney confirmation...

BOWIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU BASTARD!!!
That's the McCartney confirmation. Amy Wineho will drop next,
got good news/bad news...
I loathe coldplay, therefore it pleases me that they may have fallen, unfortunately radiohead is also in doubt...
GV wants them, so that's something.
No Smiths, prob not Blur, no bowie. The word is that they're having trouble getting headliners that'll sell 50k tickets a day. Bowie would've helped.
According to my guy, "80's bands just don't sell tickets". That's why they didn't try and reunite Talking Heads. They need a big draw in this financial climate.
Makes sense to me. Really hoping for David Byrne and Eno, per-sonally.
IM SURE THOM WOULDN'T PLAY AT THE SAME FESTIVAL W COLDPLAY..
WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT COLDPLAY WILL MORE LIKELY BE THERE..
SEEING AS HOW THEY JUST RELEASED AN ALBUM AND ARE MORE POPULAR THAN EVER..
AND RADIOHEAD HAD THEIR FESTIVAL STREAK LAST YEAR.
(I'D HATE TO ADMIT IT) BUT IT'S COLDPLAY'S YEAR
saw coldplay coachella 05 really was a good show its weird though you only can listen to there song for a only short wile before they get old, but they put on a really good show.
if all does show up this coachella will be really packed again lets hope the weather really is better two weeks earlier
I saw them in 2005 as well. It was my first year so I was still getting the hang of managing time and learning how to pull off the jumps from Main Stage to the Sahara (we also only went one day--never again), so I can't say I'd make the same decision to stick around. But, I did actually really enjoy it. And I think that was the only time I needed to see them.
