That RasNebyu is really dope!
Genius.
The Jay-z impersonators voice was on point. I really appreciated Waka Flockas commitment to being intense. It looked like the vein in his head was about to pop out. Plus I really enjoyed his Spongebob Squarepants lyrics about him, Gucci and Spongebob living under the sea.
Action Bronson is really one of the freshest dudes to come out in a while. I like his whole style...especially the multiple references to food and cooking in all his raps.

I make the consumme with the lobsta head
yeahhh, bronson goes in
I posted him in here like a year ago and Dylanja shot em down...... and then a few months later we learn he'd never even listened to J Dilla.... and the truth comes out.
But really how do you make the "Hip-Hop 102 thread", with a specific dig at people in the OP for listening to Hip-hop 101, and you've never listened to J Dilla?
This is probably one of my top 5 most played rap songs of the past 3 months or so. Can't find the mp3 anywhere so I think I've watched this youtube video about a hundred times now.
did not expect that! i dig it
lol just shit-giving
but for real if you don't know Dilla's Donuts.......
Speaking of......did you see this???

Hahahaha...you're an angry little elf!!!
Its not so bad that you need to throw around words like "douchebag" but we all express our frustration in various ways. Besides the fact that he rhymed head with head in one freestyle is okay with me, he's proven his skill with words in the past. Now if your "advance" comment is in regards to this being the Hip Hop 102 page then I must apologize. I had no idea that was the content. However I do believe while it may have started out that way, it has definitely changed course to become a discussion on hip hop in general. Which in that case, it doesn't matter if this is advanced but instead it must be hip hop someone was willing to share because they enjoy/want to discuss/etc....which I do. I enjoy it quite a bit because though he sounds like Ghostface and looks like Brooklyn's version of John Candy, he says some pretty interesting things and sounds good saying them. You should check out his catalog and not be so quick to judge based on one freestyle.
Its all good. As long as you discovered him. I wish more people would give props to an artist like him.
It's here.
Can anyone think of a better duo in hip-hop? (Don't say Eric B. & Rakim)
Anyone over the age of 19 should be able to
DREAM BIGGER
WTF is happening to Big Boi. His last album was mostly shit and his verse on Pink Matter doesn't work at all. Blah.

I posted about these guys in the 2012 releases thread but forgot to drop it in here too. This group called Clear Soul Forces, out of Detroit. Amazing lyricists, really cool group dynamic and laid-back Dilla vibe. Perfect, basically. They have their record up on their Bandcamp for free if you want it: http://www.clearsoulforces.bandcamp.com/

This new Kilo Kish song is amazing. Kish herself is only vaguely hip-hop, but Flatbush Zombies are on here (who I'm not normally a fan of but the sound great on this) so I figured I'd post it in here:

her EP Homeschool that came out last year is excellent.
is there any way to embed soundcloud on here?
The Underachievers project Indigoism is really great. New York kids who love weed signed to Brainfeeder.

Agreed. I've been playing that out.
