My band (Rags To Radio) just shot a music video

In September, my band won the preliminaries for a battles of the bands competition called "Garage Bands Unite." The contest took place from May till September, with one contest each month. Each month 5 or 6 bands would compete for a spot in the finals, which were to be held in October. Anyways, we won the September competion and went on to the finals in October. Well, as it turns out, we won that too. The prize was a professionally shot music video at a studio. We shot that video last weekend. So without boring you all with more details...

It was at first. We got there set up our equiptment and were like "Ok... soooo, what now?" The song you are hearing is actually a live take of the song in the studio. We must have played the song 10+ times. While they were doing it, they were shooting us too. Also, as you see in the video, there are a number of shots of a crowd. There were only two shoots in which the crowd was there. So they took the best version of the song we recorded, mastered it, and then took the best pieces of the 10+ video shoots and made a video about it.
So basically, at first it was kind of awkward, but luckily the manager of the studio was really cool. He was really nice, really informative and he kept us updated on what was going on the whole time. So around the halfway mark, we were totally comfortable with the whole thing.
Also, after the shoot was done, he let us play 5 more songs for all of our fans who showed up. He also pressed record as we played live and he is going to send us all of the tracks we played unmastered.
So yeah, basically, it was a really cool experience.

As I said above, part of the video shoot was with no crowd, and another part was with a crowd.

Thank you. It is quite a fun bassline to play. I kind of wish the bass was just a little bit louder in the mix, but it still sounds great.
Oh, by the way, for anyone who doesn't know... I play the bass in this band.

Haha, well, our singer is 20, our drummer is 18 and our organ/keyboard/trombone/high kicks/noise player is 15.

So in that picture from left to right is

Josh (me) - Bass (20)
Layton - Guitar/vocals (20)
Andy - Drums (18)
Zach - organ/keyboard/trombone/vocals (15)

Zach and Layton are brother by the way.

I'm playing at 9:00 at the Outdoor theatre? Why so late? Either we would have an overwhelming amount of people there (because Madness are playing after us) or basically no one there. Also... I hope we don't conflict with anyone else good on the mainstage.

Funny you mention that. One of his front teeth are fake. At one of our shows in October, while he was singing, the mic got pushed into his face and he chipped half his tooth off on the mic. This was either the first or second song of the set. But he kept on rocking anyways.
