it's nice to see drama in the san francisco thread.
.
I know the most about San Francisco having been born here, and I can tell you with very little doubt in my mind that SFChrissy is a cheap old hooker with polio.
was up in danville for thanksgiving and we went into the city on black friday...it was nuts! had a bunch of kids with us so the 3 adult guys took them on a trolly ride from the union square area down to the wharf while the ladies shopped. while waiting in line to head back to union square me and the brother in law went over to the buena vista for some irish coffee, my god it was delicious. then it was back to see the tree lighting and the mass of humanity. got off the trolley just in time to count down from 10. met up with the rest of the family and decided to head home. on the way back to the parking garage we saw the ben sherman store, so went in and went a little crazy. stuff that was already on sale was an additional 60% off, bastards! so i dropped a couple hundred on some new threads. shirts came out to like $20, it was nice. good times in sf.
drove home to newport beach on monday morning, took us 6 hours. other family left around noon on sunday, took them 13 hours on the 5!
here's a picture

Is that Odwalla factory still in Danville?
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
hmm, no idea.
I thought Odwalla was based out of Half Moon Bay.
I'm heading to San Francisco for NYE!!! Can't wait. Hitting up Breakfast of Champions!!!!
It's funny how everything was roses when we held on to the guns.
stinkbutt, it's frequently rainy around NYE, but the weather is not too cold. If you're from so cal, you might think it's cold. If you're from the north or midwest, it'll feel quite nice.Usually at least 55 in the daytime and probably around 45F at night.
SF has tons of vegetarian restaurants, even some vegan, and almost all restaurants will offer at least one vegetarian entree. Ethic restaurants are always a good choice and will have multiple choices. The mission and polk area that someone (shaker?) mentioned will have a lot of restaurants that do vegetarian. If you're really worried about it, let us know what types of food you're looking for and i'm sure we can make some suggestions.
I'm from Minneapolis so the weather will be a relief from the 13 degree average we have around that time.
I think I'm good on everything except if someone could suggest me some good bars or areas to drink maybe even some good punk bars (we have a lot here) or dive bars I would appreciate it.
DREAM BIGGER
Like they said, the mission, most places on valencia will be like that. there are a lot around 16th & valencia, but some further down to about 20th and up to ~13th.
^ yep it's by the Costco, and a medical MJ club over there too
Hey hey, my my, wimpy people will never die, or go away ...... I don't know you. I know you are someone else that is a chickenshit to post under your original name. As the old saying goes, "I have forgotten, more then you will ever know". I am not telling you how to "board" whatever that means. Surfing, I doubt it. They don't let wimps hit the waves except on boogie boards, so you lost me. I really don't care to know you either, so it goes ...........................................cr****

There is no Highway 1 in Danville.
It's much simpler at this time to agree and move on.
I just remember how weird it was for that business to be right on the edge of the coast with all of their heavy trucks. It looked like they were going to fall into the ocean.

SFChrissy & others-Have you been to Iluna Basque on Union & Powell?
I grew up on Basque Food in Bakersfield. Iluna does an amazing job.
My fav restaurant in the city.
