Juice of 1/2 lemon

The best luck I ever had was meeting the person who was the catalyst in changing my career. After I got out of radio I got into a sales job for a retail appliance company. I did it for several years and eventually the real estate market boomed and I was serving several home builders and their customers. We had about 20 staff that all took appointments from the builder clients to upgrade their products, and we had hundreds of bookings a week. It was madness. I ended up getting a booking for a couple and upgraded them to some built ins and a few nicer items. I explained all the mechanical benefits and features, got them all the technical specs, worked with the kitchen company on measurements and did all the customer service follow up. A few days later the guy leaves me a voice mail - and I'm thinking, crap. He's going to cancel his order, or something's gone wrong. I called him and he told me he thought I did a great job and did I know what Technical Recruiting was. I said no. He asked if I knew what IT was. I said no. He told me he wanted to explain it to me and I should come meet him, that he thought I'd be good at it. The result was my getting into a career that I loved, developing a passion for technology, training, and going back to school for my HR certification. Meeting that person, making that sale, changed my whole life. Best luck I could have ever hoped for.
Describe the three people you most recently had sexual intercourse with, but only by explaining what those individuals' relationship was to you (i.e. ex-boyfriend, co-worker, total stranger)
What are a couple of your favorite plays and/or musicals you have seen on stage? What would you like to see that you haven't yet?
I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.
anytime it doesn't turn into a shart story.
Which board member would you be most likely to give deliberately bad advice to if they were to ask you for guidance re: applying for a job/composing their resume/following up after an interview?
I had to have major abdominal surgery for a chronic problem and it was a long recovery. It just caused a major disruption to my system overall. Plus going under general anesthetic can cause problems with that too. I have had trouble with anesthesia in the past so I wasn't surprised.
Not to sound like Mary Fucking Poppins here, but I'm a professional. I would give good and solid employment advice to anyone - no matter who was asking. People on here may fuck around and act like dicks to people on the board sometimes, but let's face it - this is an entertainment space. The dicks are part of the entertainment. It's no reason to try and mess with someone's livelihood.
Why do you like Victoria so much? Deep down, are you a hippie?
What is your next vacation destination?
My next vacation will probably in Mexico as we're talking about going to an all inclusive to celebrate my spouse's 40th. Or we may spend a few days in NYC instead. Still in planning mode.
Looking back on my romantic life, I don't think I have that one person I wished could have worked out and didn't. There is someone I met while on vacation a number of years ago that lives very far away from me, and our circumstances made it impossible for us to make a relationship work. It was hard because we still had feelings for eachother and of course I still think fondly of him. You always kind of wonder.. what if? But I don't really pine away for anyone from my past, if that's what you mean.
Five year plan? Ten year?
You still do Flash Mobs? If so, how's that working out?
You know, but that's valid because if we are all gonna die anyway shouldn't we be enjoying ourselves now? You know, I'd like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor insignificant preamble to something else.
It's that tad bit of Crazy that keeps me Sane...
