Paramore was opening for No Doubt so it didn't skew as young as you'd otherwise expect. We got there early and left before No Doubt came on.
Please describe your perfect sandwich from the bottom up. Include any sides or accompanying beverages.
whole grain wheat bread. artisinal. not crappy store bread
Maille dijon mustard. smooth, not grainy. or, possibly, a mix of smooth and grainy.
thin sliced rare roast beef, piled about 3/8" thick.
gorganzola cheese, crumbled
pieces of crisp iceberg lettuce and a few slices of heirloom tomato
a few drops of Cholula
more mustard, more bread
Cape Cod potato chips

Yes. Tapatio is quite good though.
Is that the pot on your avi?
do u smoke cannabis?
If you were single, would you be able to be in a relationship with someone significantly younger than you? Not just have sex with the person...actually have a connection with them. (I read that some 51 year old actor married a 16 year old, and my first thought was that he will smother her with a pillow within a year.)
What do you think of this cover? Try and not pay attention to the gimmicky look of the band.
Ha. I'll put you on the short list in the event Andy dies young. Now answer the question.

but not 16 though. no. I like adults.
edit: My friend John in NY is like 52 I think. He's fat (like, bigger than me, by a fair amount) but a really great guy. Divorced with daughters in their 20s. John is currently living with a 28 year old Ghanian model - a really great woman, I like her a lot. They seem genuinely happy together. True love, I think. so why not?

Also, lead by example. Live your life in a way that you would want them to emulate. If you want them to make good judgments, make good judgments yourself that they can see.

That is excellent advice, Tom.
What are some of the things you do when you get the blues?
a) Better to burn out, or to fade away?
b) Make a convincing argument for both with relevant examples.
Favorite drink? (have we done that yet?)
When was the last time you surprised yourself, in a good way? What was it that you did?
He said it was the story of Johnny Rotten, but John didn't burn out.. he just went on to other things. Pretty damned great things with PiL in fact. and what we saw at Coachella 2010 was a hell of a lot better than what we saw out of Sid, who burned out big time a long time ago.
Tom, how do you choose how much to reveal and how much to keep private on the internet?
Sometimes I'll cook something and serve it up and I surprise myself at how good it is. Cooking is a big hobby of mine, I love it, and I've been at it long enough to have learned a few things. Occasionally I'll make something and I'll be like, damn, I did that. (disclosure: more often, I will make something and think what I should have done differently). But when it all comes together it's like damn. I'm just making other people's recipes, so it's just execution, not creation. but still. damn. There's this Thomas Keller recipe for chicken pot pie. Simple comfort food, but Keller is quite exacting in his techniques, and I followed it to the letter and the first time was good, but the second time I made it I was like.. damn. I made this? damn.

I was merely adding in my percentage and cut of any transactions ahead of time so there would be no hidden costs or embarrassing surprises at checkout time.
And, now that we have that out of the way...I'll make my question simple for you and include a chart. Let's say that Pot was dead serious about you running off and fucking a tree the other day. He didn't clarify any particular type of tree, so I'll ask you what your taste in fucking trees happens to be?
Also, certain things about myself I don't want to talk about other than in jokes or unspecific generalities. To people I have come to know and trust, I'll get more personal, up to a point.
I guess my rule of thumb is, would this embarrass me or hurt someone if it came to light that I was talking about it with people on the internet?
Whoa, apparently, I have no thumbs! I never use them to type so I hadn't even noticed until Tom brought it to light.I guess my rule of thumb is, would this embarrass me or hurt someone if it came to light that I was talking about it with people on the internet?
