On subject, if they played just "Tupelo" and "The Mercy Seat," I'd be fulfilled.

Yeah but how much do you pay in rent?
I've driven 90 minutes to try out a restaurant.
Oh, I really enjoyed his verion of Hendrix's Hey Joe.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Actually, Hendrix covered that as well.
A NEW SONG BY NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS!!!

god, the new song is so good!
New song sounds great! Definitely a departure from Dig Lazarus Dig, more like The Boatman's Call which is probably my favorite album.

anybody know what happened to the 4/16 San Diego show that was announced in November? http://thescenestar.typepad.com/ss/2...y-the-bay.html
I don't think tix actually ever went on sale. The gig is not showing up anywhere: Nick Cave's site, Ticketmaster or Humphrey's. I emailed Humphrey's but got no response.
would be really cool to see them at this venue. and i figured it would be a great fit for an in between weekend 1 & 2 show.
For Nick Cave interview SXSW requests, journalists have to submit the last 10 books they've read to his management team...
I find it amusing.
No SD shows were part of the GV pre/mid-chella block of shows. There were a few Coachchella bands that played later in SD, but they were announced way in advance like the Hives show at the Belly Up.
The GV pre/mid chella shows were almost exclusively in the LA area like the El Rey, Glass House, Fox, Club Nokia and Fonda.
I would love to be wrong, but I don't see Humphrey's as a GV affiliated venue.
Does GV still prevent (or highly discourage) artists from performing anywhere close to the LA market (except maybe Santa Barbara) during Coachella, unless it's a GV sponsored gig?
Setlist from tonights inaugural Push The Sky Away release show in London. This is one of four shows they are doing to celebrate the release of the new album where they play the album in full. I am sure the set will be similar for the LA show coming up later this month. Nice selection of songs from other albums, though. I hope they only play 3 or 4 songs from Push The Sky Away for the regular tour.
We No Who 'U 'R
Wide Lovely Eyes
Water's Edge
Jubilee Street
Mermaids
We Real Cool
Finishing Jubilee Street
Higgs Boson Blues
Push the Sky Away
From Her to Eternity
Jack the Ripper
Love Letter
Your Funeral My Trial
Deanna
Ship Song
O Children
The Mercy Seat

RAPE STOVE
white power?!
I am liking the mini orchestra to the left and are those backup singers to the right? Coachella can't come soon enough.

That is definitely true enough. I guess we will have to wait till March to see what their regular touring setlists will look like. Even though the song selection from previous albums is small, that is a great selection of material.
I hope in general its more of a general hits of NC&BS for the setlist.I have way too many songs I would want to hear.
I have never read any books to Nick Cave's management team; I'd be in trouble.
I like that setlist, especially hearing that playing the album through is a special thing. I'd be happy to hear a bunch of it but yeah, there's a lot of songs I'd like to hear. I am pretty sure I'll be happy with whatever they do. I am not saying a Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds setlist could not go wrong but it is unlikely to do so.
I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.
Fuck I forgot how AMAZING "The Last Boatman's Call is.
So fucking awesome he's playing this song on this tour. Nice to see Nick belt out some vicious vocals still
The channel that uploaded this video has the whole show from Paris on Monday night in GREAT quality![]()

San Diego goes onsale this Friday
Got 1 for the San Fran show. YES.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
