Grabbed a lickable wallpaper wonka print and the 8-bit spring break.
I think its just scented inks. I dont think you want to lick that :P Those 8-bit pieces are insane! I grabbed the Olly Moss Leon. Great flick, fun print.

What time would you expect to be there to get a good spot? I've picked up from G1988 before but have never attended an art show. I'd imagine it can still get busy regardless of it being Monday.
Let me know! I'd be surprised if it available but who knows. Englert is selling APs online soon for $100+shipping but they have a sketch on them if thats your kind of thing.
G88 shows are a mixed bag when it comes to line. It really just depends on what they announce is there ahead of time. Also, Breaking Bad is popular but they also gave 10 days notice on this so I doubt its going to be like the Arrested Development mod scene. Just get there and get your name on the list to buy. The chances an edition of 50 sells out in front of you slim unless every single person is waiting for it like they do for a Moss print or similar.

Going to share or dont have anything on it? There's been a non-limited tour poster as well if that was it. Either way, Jones has been killing it this tour. Really great stuff from him.

    Found a good photo.

All I know is they didnt have the one you posted above for sale tonight at the shrine. This one was horizontal and had a design of the shrine in light blue. Wasnt able to get decently close enough to take a photo because everyone and their mother was in the fucking merch line. 2 merch booths and both had a line of at least 50 people just after doors opened, and it stayed that way from what I saw til I went to my seats for the opener..

Thats how people pay to go see Jack a bunch of times. The Third Man Records vinyl scene is ridiculous and the posters are right behind that. Most of it is not even worth the price from the get go let alone 4 times it.

What happened with chicago flatstock supre? Check it out? Get rained out?

The 12 copies or so available at the gallery were well sold out before I was able to buy and they just sold out too fast for me to buy online.
I did however pick up Mike Mitchell's 'The Cooks'

One of my favorites. Most of the actors are real favela residents. The documentary on the special features is excellent too.

It's really not that bad apparently. I haven't been, but I know you can take guided tours through the favelas. The dealers are more worried about the extremely corrupt police force and other gangsters.

EDIT* In the aforementioned documentary Rio's police chief openly admits to widespread corruption and states that it benefits their society as a whole.

Kind of surprised they got the World Cup and Olympics based on those issues. Assume they will have the federales overseeing security measures.

The drug/gang violence doesn't really spill over into the nicer areas. Not from what I've read anyway.

EDIT* Dealers really have no incentive in disrupting the Olympics or any major public event for that matter.

So Daniel Danger did the album cover for the new Pinback album coming out and the label and he are releasing an art print of the full image.

While supplies last, we are offering this very special, absolutely gorgeous 12x36-inch, 6-color, limited-edition, hand-printed, hand-numbered and signed screenprinted art print by Daniel Danger, the world-renowned artist responsible for the artwork for the new Pinback album! We only have 250 copies of these, and they're priced well below the going rate for a Daniel Danger print of this size and scope, so we don't expect them to last very long.
    http://temporaryresidence.com/descriptions/trr179.php

Pretty good price at $40 for that size from DD, and you get an MP3 download of the record. Very pleased that they did it up right and avoided plastering the bands name and album title on top of it. Ordered one.
