I believe it was in 2004 or 5. The last time I remember them with a band was the year they played Coachella and then they were supposed to be on the lineup for Lollapalooza the following year but it got canceled after a few cities. Not sure if they even were on that leg of the tour.
It's funny how everything was roses when we held on to the guns.
They are doing 2 more of the orchestra shows in London. Would be neat if they did it in the states too...

On July 11th, there will be an album release of the Jaxx/Metropole Orkest collaboration.
The album will be a combination of live performances and studio recordings of the arrangements.
Based on the 3 sample songs they have online, they may or may not have the Jaxx vocalists on it (like in the live shows).
Red Alert, Raindrops, and Hey U:

And a pro-shot compilation of the show:
They are doing the show the 14th and 15th of July in the UK as well.

BUMP!
It's been 7 years. The Jaxx is overdue for a return to the polo fields!
this would be amazing bump
should have happened with PIL
7 years? Wow. WAY overdue. Full band, though. No fucking 'dj' sets.
I loved their DJ set at HHM. But yes Live please. Pretty please.

2004 on the Outdoor will always be one of my favorite sets at Coachella. WOW!!!! What a party that was!!!!
It's funny how everything was roses when we held on to the guns.
Basement jaxx hate America, clearly
Superfan will be in front of the Fonda masturbating furiously to a photo of him taking a photo of a band. Set is from 8:05 to approximately 8:05:15. Guest list only.
Upcoming Shows: Spamalot (7/31), HARD (8/1) 2001 Space Odyssey with LA Phil (8/12), Opeth (10/18), TOOL (10/31), Coachella 2016 (WK1), David Gilmour (Wherever I need to go)
No lie, there's a part of me that would rather have Basement Jaxx and Underworld to Daft Punk. Obviously DP is great, but I feel like with Basement Jaxx and Underworld I'd be able to just go and enjoy the show without the packed in crowds of cretins holding their iPhones up and going all "WOOOOO DAFT PUNK" or whatever it is people say.
very much yes to this. been dying to see them live and i believe my only hope is coachella.
YES!! i still regret leaving the outdoor stage in 04' to get a spot to watch the cure.
bump, Coachella 2014
