Thanks, I don’t usually give my self much credit for whatever, but I do have to say, today I wore my ministry football jersey with and anarchist symbols all over it, and I still have partially pink hair (not a wig lol), so I do love to push the envelope at times, not just because it is 911 .. x****

I voted No, I could care less
because well I haven't seen him and "I have always wanted to" isn't how I feel about him as well, no middle ground. I would definitely watch him if he came to Coachella
July 21- Soundgarden- Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
July 30- Rage Against the Machine/Muse- LA Coliseum
Oct 21- Portishead- Berkeley Greek
Nov 18- Pixies- Fox Theater Bakersfield
OK, I saw him once, but it was only for two songs, when he joined Morrissey on stage for an encore at a show in Los Angeles -- does that count?
I saw Bowie 3 times on the NIN/Bowie tour (although I left early for one of those dates). I wasn't into Bowie that much, although I liked some hits, and I liked the Bowie show then. Of course, I was primarily a huge NIN fan, so maybe that's why I enjoyed it. Bowie was fuckin HAWT then even at 50-whatever. I was FRONT AND CENTER at the Phoenix date in the pit.
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.
there's just no escaping arcade fire is there?!?

The Thin White Duke persona is my absolute favorite Bowie persona ever..I love that whole fucking period...If I ever see Bowie again, He MUST play Station to Station.
I saw one of the NIN/Bowie shows (Chicago) when he was sick, so his vocals were a little off.
The most recent show I caught was 05? in Moline, IL. Bowie's voice was outstanding and I was surprised at how young he looked. I was also surprised to see so many Bowie fans show up in such a rural, backwoods town.
Saw him in 2003. Took my Mom.
It was a pretty good show - would definitely see him again.
he was here in 2004. I didn't have the $60 or whetever it was to sit in the 300 deck of the air canada centre.
i saw him at AREA 2 and it was amazing
I also saw Bowie with NIN in 1995 (at Shoreline). It was pretty cool, NIN was the highlight for me, but Bowie put on a very good performance.
10/29 Hot Chip @ The Fox Theatre
11/07 Rufus Du Sol @ The Mezzanine (?)
11/13 Mr Little Jeans @ The Rickshaw Stop
11/20 Keep Shelly in Athens @ Awaken
I've seen him at Angels stadium, Dodger stadium, and the Forum with NIN. The performance with NIN was horrible.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
It's good to know that all that hash oil and thai stick hadn't permanently damaged my memory process...I just re-read this thread and Ivankay's recall of the Glass Spider's Tour jogged my memory...Is that the tour where Bowie went out over the audience on a really tall boom or gaf? If so, then he ran into problems at the San Diego show when I saw hime. Seems the thing got jammed as he was all the way out above the fans up in that little basket like thing trying not to panic while he was singing.
"Who is this doing this synthetic type of Alpha Beta psychedelic funkin'?"
CHEMICAL BROTHERS
Lucky bastard... I would probably fucking cry if i got to see david bowie perform
I was looking over at this thread. Here is the entire Glass Spider Tour. Vid is meh, sound is ok considering ... cr****
