Just watched both episodes now, Vogel really crept me out at the end telling Dexter he's perfect. It is Frankenstein-ish how she is with him.
Jennifer Carpenter's acting this season (especially when she's intoxicated) is absolutely horrendous.
i begrudgingly agree
She added the phrase "meany head" to my profile.I hardly think I'm an attention whore.I train birds of prey and am I licensed falconer
I was hoping this entire season would be about Dexter getting caught, put on trial, in prison, etc.
Also .. is anyone on the edge of their seat, hoping Quinn gets promoted to sergeant?

Yeah, it's really boring filler. I was trying to be sarcastic.
What a bore of an episode, but damn, scenes from next weeks episode look awesome!

I felt like it jumped the shark after the trinity killer season, and so i stopped watching. Although i fell in love with the Rita season. Has the show gotten any better since that season?
Certain songs they get so scratched into our souls
Desmond Harrington (Quinn) is from Georgia, the show takes place in Miami, but on the show he sounds like he's from Boston. Why?
Quinn was on to Dexter at one point

My least favorite season was the Travis Marshall/Religous Season 6. I agree with most people that Trinity/Lithgow is the best.
I think this season has been a mess. They did a terrible job selling Debra's spiral. I don't see Debra ever finding peace until Dexter is killed or imprisoned. I bet we get a nice wrapped present at the end with Debra's wedding to Quinn (following his promotion of course) and Dexter's funeral in the same episode. Getting Vogel to convince Debra to accept Dexter while this other killer under Vogel's "control" is lurking doesn't work for me either. I think the Vogel angle had promise. I don't mind that they went there it's just how they executed it.
So Hannah is still due for an appearance according to the comic con panel
What are the chances Lumen returns to officially jump the shark this show
One of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen on a show, and the fact that Hanks' character whipped it up in a matter of minutes was hilarious, too. This has never been a show I've taken too seriously in the first place (there are so many elements of intentional camp that it more or less pleads for you not to), but this was over the cheese line.
