    my friends and i are all planning on getting there as early as possible in order to get a good spot, but none of us has ever been so we dont really know exactly what a "GOOD" spot is....

    what should be be looking for????

    i read somewhere on here that near the walkways and the showers is a plus. Being in the middle , while not dangerous, can pose the risk of theft. But it seems that if there is theft , its random and very very few. which is surprising, i think.

    Stay away from the bar if you dont like a lot of drunks or ploud after show partying.

    I heard there are several good spots. some near each of the 5 stages and some near the cool art and other goodies that you don't know about until you get there. good luck. god speed.

    and for camping, stay away from the porto potties

    I camped near the food area last year its far from the festival gate. It was ok but I think I will try to camp closer to the entrance this year.

    Anywhere on the outside edge that you can remember with a landmark or something. If you get somewhere in the middle, its so fckin difficult to find your tent when you get back from being at the festival for 12 hours in pitch black darkness, and b/c the tents all look exactly alike.
