It looks like we will finally address our current youth movement in the draft, like real teams do.
Spot on as usual, buddy. I love that the Melton signing keeps the Cowboys from being chained to drafting Donald or declaring the offseason a bust. If he falls to them, I still think they should turn in the card without a second thought but now they have the flexibility to look at other players. Who knows, maybe if Jernigan is available they'll deem him the best option for their defense even though he's best suited to be the run-stopping 1-technique DT that Marinelli doesn't value as highly.

What's the over/under on how many girls Cromartie impregnates while he's with us? With Scottsdale & Tempe nearby, is 2.5 fair?

Allen isn't officially signed yet. Seattle offered him a contract but from reports are that he going to think over the weekend about it. My guess is that it wasn't for as much money as he would have liked he is just holding hoping for a last minute bigger contract from another team. Even if he does sign every team in the NFC West has a stacked defense so it's not like Allen is going to make that much of a difference.

You are absolutely right, Jared Allen won't make any difference at all, his unreal tackle/sack average in a shitty system would have zero impact playing under the best defensive coordinator in the league, nope no impact whatsoever.

The whole Aaron Donald thing is such a tough call being that both he and Melton are 3-Techs... They can make him a rotational guy but I doubt he or Marinelli would want that. If he's there we might have to pass on him, it would feel like 2011 all over again when we had to pass on JJ Watt simply because we wouldn't have THAT much use for him at the time and of course we needed a franchise Tackle more than anything, fuck that was painful.

You're gonna be colorado ron in your old age, sasha.

Noting that the Seahawks have not signed him (when it was expected that they would yesterday), and then further stating the obvious that he will not help them if he is not under contract, is not "shitting all over it". Allen has a price point; if no team hits it, he retires. My guess is he got his heart set on playing for Seattle and when they didn't hit his price point he was disappointed and wants to think it through. It is by no means a given that he will land there.

It has nothing to do with shitting on Seattle as much as it is that they already have the best defense the the league. Not like Allen is going to a middle of the road defense where adding him makes them a real threat. With or without Allen Seattle D is already scary to the opposing QB. Also take into note that Offensive lines are overall better in the NFC West then the North.
