Why did they need to put the "No Questions Asked" part in? What questions would they ask?
This reminds me how I saw a homeless person in SF with a Nittany Lion sweatshirt walking around a a week after the Sandusky thing surfaced.
"When did you buy it?"
"Do you have the receipt?"
"Is this a blood stain?"
"He did it, AMIRITE?"
"I'm just taking a poll, why would you allegedly destroy a cell phone and security cameras if you are innocent?"
Jesus I hate TMZ.
"Aaron is wearing what appears to be a Livestrong bracelet -- which is pretty ironic, because spokesperson Lance Armstrong also left his sport in disgrace."
.... yep, that's irony. They could have at least put 'which is pretty ironic, because Lance Armstrong was killing Sheryl Crow's backside every night years ago.'
Time for Aaron to move from offense to defense.
He went there to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and he was all out of...oh wait.

Belichick To Tebow: ‘I’m Your Lord And Savior Now’
SPORTS NEWS IN BRIEF • Sports • NFL Football • ISSUE 49•27 • Jul 7, 2013
BOSTON—Warning that he was a dark and vengeful God, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick reportedly pulled aside Tim Tebow at the team’s facilities Thursday and informed the backup quarterback that he was his only Lord and savior now. “This is your church now, and you shall worship me,” said Belichick, who sources confirmed clutched Tebow’s throat and slammed the former Heisman Trophy winner against a concrete wall. “If you want to see a wrathful God, then question me on playing time. I will crush you into dust. And if I ever see you on your knees, you better be praying to me or you will be destroyed by my blistering fury.” At press time, Tebow told reporters that he was renouncing Jesus Christ.

VON MILLER FACING FOUR GAME BAN.
If the suspension stands Denver is gonna kick themselves extra hard for bungling Dumervill's paperwork. What an embarrassing offseason for the Broncos.
go and fuck themselves, you mean.
Tom, I had some money burning a hole in my bovada account so I started looking at the props for NFL futures. The Cardinals' regular season win total was 5 1/2 games and I put $100 on the over. I figure Palmer coming to town is worth at least a 3 game improvement over last year and Michael Floyd seems primed for a breakout. What do you think?
I hope you win your bet. I think the OL will be much better this year (barring too many injuries, which is part of what sunk them last year). I'm hoping for the best with Palmer, we'll see. I certainly like our coaching.. they haven't lost a game yet.
also: Michael Floyd seemed to have a work ethic issue last year, but reports are that has changed, I know a number of national media outlets are also predicting a breakout year for him. we'll see.

Oof, that's a tough one. I'd probably go over too but not with confidence. I think 6 wins is doable but of course that's barely over.
I'd bet on the under for whatever Pittsburgh is at. I can't remember exactly how many wins it was but it was very high. I remember thinking over on Kansas City too.
I think Michael Floyd will look much better this season but I dunno if I'd call it a legit "breakout" year. Carson Palmer is an obvious upgrade from what they had, I just don't know if he'll produce enough to support a breakout year from a #2 WR with Fitzgerald and Housler in the mix to breakout.
The Floyd prediction is based primarily on the fact that I'm a huge Irish homer and I watched every game the kid ever played in college. He's a physical specimen, and I don't think there are many cornerbacks that are gonna look forward to guarding the kid one on one while Larry's drawing double teams on the other side of the field. Floyd came on pretty strong towards the end of the season last year and Arians seems pretty set on featuring him in the offense.
I also put $100 on the Seahawks to win the Super Bowl. It pays $800, which is a pretty horrible bet by most standards, but as a delusional Seahawks fan I couldn't pass it up.
I love it when fans jinx their own team. JINX. JINX JINX JINX.
ohh I may have just canceled the jinx. dammit.
Yep, I will never bet on my own teams for that reason. The only time I have ever bet on my own team was when I was in middle school or elementary school. It was only a 2 dollar bet, which lets face it is equal to a million when you are that young. I bet a friend that the Yankees were going to win the world series against the diamondbacks and well we all know how that turned out. Have never bet on my own teams since.
something something something "penetrate the end zone" something.
As a Vikings' fan, this amuses me..
Harvin’s hip injury could require surgery
For plenty of players who land on the physically unable to perform list, it’s a short-term stay that has no lasting impact on the player or the team.
For Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin, that may not be the case.
A source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that his hip injury could result in surgery. As NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has reported (and as PFT has confirmed), Harvin has a “slight tear” in the labrum. We’re told that the injury was spotted in an MRI performed on Thursday.
The team wants Harvin to try to practice and play with the injury (along with non-surgical treatment, of course). Harvin intends to exercise his right to a second opinion, and arrangements currently are being made for Harvin to be evaluated by a top expert in the field. (Why do we have a feeling that the names “James” and “Andrews” eventually will emerge in connection with this story?)
Depending on the second opinion, Harvin may ultimately have surgery.
It’s not bad news yet for the Seahawks. But it eventually could be.

Ruh-roh....Not a good start.
At least he hasn't had any headaches yet.
Cardinals sign John Abraham and Eric Winston today. I am very happy with these, especially the Winston signing.
Pretty sure Schofield's getting cut today:
Schofield was told not to participate in a conditioning run on Thursday and left the field as other players entered.
yep, darren urban just confirmed he's been cut.
Holy hell there have been a lot of players getting knocked out for the season before it even starts.
