My Saints let me down again... they won their last three in Atlanta until last night. Sweet Breesus looked like Favre out there.

My Alzheimer's Disease let me down again.....forgot to log my pick (ATL) and forgot to activate Matt Bryant (16 pts) whom I grabbed off the waiver wire in my FFL.

Reports: Chiefs LB Belcher kills self

A player on the Kansas City Chiefs shot and killed his girlfriend early Saturday before shooting and killing himself at the team facility, according to police.

The Kansas City Star, citing police, identified the player as 25-year-old linebacker Jovan Belcher. FOXSports.com's Alex Marvez reports that a Chiefs source has also confirmed Belcher as the player.

The suicide took place at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs play, and the player shot himself in front of a “couple of coaches,” according to police. The Kansas City Star said the player was 25 years old.

According to sources, the stadium was cordoned off as players started arriving and police told them one of their teammates had shot himself.

The Chiefs are scheduled to host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. According to the Charlotte Observer, the NFL has told the Carolina Panthers to fly to Kansas City as planned to play the game.

The Chiefs released a statement that read: “We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning. We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation.”

So sad. Hopefully the coach has a good support group to get him through it.

Sorta odd that most likely that same support group will get him fired by the end of the season.

of course Rivers fumbles deep in their own territory. Met the expectation rather well for the season theme. Bye Norv/AJ.

Browns employee suicide: Hung himself in NFL team's equipment shed

A Cleveland Browns employee committed suicide Saturday by hanging himself in the NFL team's equipment shed, Inquisitr reports Dec. 2. The incident happened the same day Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, Jovan Belcher, killed his girlfriend then himself with a gun.

According to NFL.com, the employee was an assistant groundskeeper by the name of Eric Eucker. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office was went to the training facility in Berea, Ohio to investigate a possible suicide.

The Cleveland Browns football team issued a statement over the employee's tragic suicide:

"This is a terrible tragedy and our heartfelt condolences go out to Eric’s family. Eric was a good friend and colleague, and an outstanding employee. He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization.”

"This is a terrible tragedy," said Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis. "He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization."

No further details have been released on the Browns employee suicide -- or a motive behind Eucker's decision to end his life. Two terrible fatal tragedies have engulfed the NFL world in one weekend.

Russell Wilson does it again. There needs to be some serious rookie of the year consideration here. Only Brady and Manning have comparable QBRs over the last four games.

Gotta hand it to the Seahawks, they've got the Bears' number. Pete Carroll's done a much better job than people were projecting he would. Only shitty thing for you is that Tom didn't take you up on the bet re: Seahawks/Cardinals next week.

The Bears defense tends to come up short when it could use a stop. Which is weird because of how good they usually are. The bigger the moment, though, the softer they become. I have no hope for them to do anything in the playoffs.

Tom is a smart man. Even when his team was sitting at 4-0 he knew in his heart they were terrible.

There couldn't have been enough $10 Bud Lights in the vendor's cooler to kill the pain brought on by having to watch that abomination of an NFL game.

Me and my GD high MNF over/under picks!

I want to win another week, dammit.

At least I watched the Browns beat the Raiders in the sunshine instead of the hurricane-level storm they predicted all week.
