The Mountain Goats - Transcendental Youth
it's way better than the EP, but that's not saying much. excited to dig in a little more... but now I'm finally getting around to the new Swans. the goal is to be in a drunken stupor by the end of the second disc.
The EP seemed like one album track and a bunch of cast-off bullshit. I'm surprised Sod in the Seed isn't on this.
I am going to get so blown to Cypress Hill while they play.
Bitter Thoughts is mostly what I was hoping for, though I'm not sure what to make of the woman. Maybe a nice leather jacket.

Liz Wolf. I'm trying to figure out if she's a sister or a marriage.
I guess it's Josiah's wife and now a member of the band? I won't stand for this nepotism.
But if somebody keeps Josiah busy he probably won't try to make any more solo music. It's for the good of the community.
This Why? album is getting a lot of hate elsewhere (especially ?) but I can confidently say I love it.
I think he's pushing here and there to hit the expected themes but that may be my fault for following his Twitter which is all about how rad sunshine and puppies and working out are.
I think that's a reasonable criticism. Maybe he's all out of self-loathing and all-consuming anxious morbidity and the resultant healthy relationships, regular exercise, and positive self-image are hindering his ability to write convincingly about an uncomfortable caressing of somebody's discarded death parts. Selfish prick.
Oh art. You bifurcated dick.
Back to Earth.
Do you think it's possible that you were thinking of sex-starved housewives prior to viewing the image? Because I'm pretty sure that's possible. Probable, even.
She sounds pretty.
Yes. That's Cutter's little brother.
