great setlist and thanks for the Merch pics! I'm still holding out for a show at Red Rocks, I have yet to see them and I want my first show to be either RR or Sunset at Coachella. Any of you think theres any chance for a more extensive US tour in October which is completely open for them? Also, a little birdie told me of a possibility of Bjork showing up in Brooklyn...

Unfortunately, the dates posted on their website through end of Nov will be the only shows they'll be playing this year (talked to Orri before the show). But they're planning on doing full US tour next spring so I'm sure they'll make a stop @ Red Rocks again When I mentioned Coachella possibility, he smirked and said we would definitely love to play there again. Coachella 2013!

ps I can definitely see Bjork being at the show tomorrow. She lives right near the venue

I'm sure I'm in the minority on this one but I don't want them to play coachella. Selfish reasons because I doubt I'm going to coachella again next year and if they do play that means more then likely no other so cal date. Also they are a band I would only want to see with dedicated fans. I cant think of anything worse then a person seeing them and not getting them and talking during them and ruining it for everyone around them. I can see that happening very easily at Coachella unless of course hey close the outdoor, which means you are more then likely going to deal with sound bleed.

In all seriousness though, Jonsi was incredible on the Outdoor in 2010. I don't recall sound bleed ruining anything. Then again, I was rather focused.

A lot of these same sentiments/concerns were expressed prior to GY!BE's recent performance at Coachella. They were magical and the crowd was attentive for the most part. Sound bleed wasn't a big issue, especially closer into the stage. I sure as hell hope Sigur Rós will be there one day. It would work.

Jonsi was amazing on the outdoor, my favorite set of the weekend. If they are there and I happen to be at coachella then of course I would see them. I'm just hoping they aren't more for me most likely not being at coachella for the first reason I stated, which is indeed selfish I know.

You could definitely hear Guetta's untz but it wasn't bad and honestly GY!BE was so good that I just didn't even notice after the first 45 seconds.

I don't think either of them went in 2006. And yes, there were issues. We can start with Kanye messing up with all the timing. But the crowd not having a clue, since they were a pro Depeche Mode audience (sorry jen) made it worse.

Well, I'm talking about Coachella. Tons of people were talking and there was definitely sound bleed. Say what you want, a music festival isn't the ideal place for a solo acoustic act (and apparently neither is Sigur Ros).

As much as I enjoyed the fuck out of that set, indoors with a two hour set is really the best way to see them. I was pretty gone during that set, so there may have been problems I didn't notice, though.
