The Ides of April are here.
i know the IRS is just doing their job, but i think i want to include them in my "Fuck you" to the shitheads who piss away the dough we so generously give them.
I hope they can help lots of crack ho baby mamas with the $3,500 that I had to send them!
has anyone else seen that film, america from freedom to facism? not a good idea to watch that the day before you file your taxes.
Yeah!!! Im $1013.24 poorer today!
We're spending billions of dollars killing brown people in Iraq, and you're bitching about a welfare program that consumes a fraction of a percentage of our federal budget? You reactionary Fox News types have a curious way of selecting what to complain about.
yay I'm getting 600 bucks back.

I finished mine last night. it made me cranky. I'm thinking of ditching TurboTax next year and getting an actual professional.
plus I'm not sure I trust the results. I owed a bunch to the feds but got a lot back from the state.
my tax guy keeps trying to get a hold of me, but i keep missing him ... i hate phones esp cell phones which is the only thing i have ... me thinks it is not good news x****

you pay tax throughout the year but it is an estimate. at the end of the year you have to file paperwork to see what your actual tax is. sort of a trueing-up of your payments during the year. some people over paid and get money back, some people under paid and owe money to the government.
If you owe money, you can change your W2 this year to avoid the same thing next year, and then maybe you'll get a refund.
the busy bee has no time for sorrow.
I just dropped off my returns at the Post Office at approx 10:45pm. Kind of cutting it close.
Will NOT do this again!
Oh, by the way, if anyone is in LA area, the Long Beach Post Office on Redondo rocks. If I have to do this again I will go there.
I have it set up nicely...get about $5k back every year around tax time...makes my Coachella trip easier, and I don't stress so much about the summer.
PS - I use Turbo Tax and I itemize my deductions.
