Why has no one been talking about them? They would be a PERFECT addition, and would shred this festivals faces off. Those 3 dudes produce more sound and energy than most 5 man bands i have ever seen.
This would be real fucking neat.

i think they are recording an album right now.
The White Stripes 9/18
i effin love MUSE !!! that would make me a very happy girl if they added
"There's a shadow just behind me,shrouding every breath I take, making every promise empty, pointing every finger at me."
I was there at Wembley (First Night) and it was an awesome gig, Long set and a great atmosphere.
Muse For 09'
Yeah, they've been touring for two years straight. They probably should have been there last year, but now it needs a break.
God damn, that's a good picture...
The thing about Muse, it doesn't feel right. I am an enormous fan of the band, and welcome any chance to see them. But within the last couple years, they have been in the press and playing EVERYWHERE in the U.S. supporting BH&R.
I think it's just time for them to relax, as someone else said, to get the next album ready.
They are indeed recording this year and only choosing to play a handful of concerts in 2008. I think next year does seem quite likely.
That being said, I'd love it if they became a last minute surprise Friday addition.

Hard to stop a great thing...I havent heard any complaints.
But yes, i do agree...I cant wait for their next album.
Edit: Srsly, how in the fuck do 3 guys make that much sound?
Indeed, I'm seeing them tommorow. They are indeed recording this year and only choosing to play a handful of concerts in 2008.
Muse 09, I know this. Headlining Friday night.
there are four guys in muse not three. the guitarist, bassist, drummer and dj.
And Hell Ya they put on a good show for vegoose! I was about 8 people from the front and dead center (right on the middle devider). would be a great add to friday.
I used to love them when they first arrived years ago, but admittedly got extremely sick of them once they blew up a few years ago......lately though, I've been listening to their first couple albums again, and seeing them live once more would be pretty freakin' rad
'99-'11...
So fucking rad at Vegoose! My god, lost my senses and tinkled a bit.
And are you kidding me, there is a 4th DJ? Does he hide offstage, because for the love of christ i have never seen/heard him/her referenced...
:/ - idiot!
Also dude, there are touring members, but only THREE members to the band. There is a difference here dude...and Chinamen is NOT the proper nomenclature.
From WIKI:
Current members
* Matthew Bellamy – vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards, synthesisers
* Christopher Wolstenholme – bass guitar, backing vocals, guitar, keyboards, synthesisers
* Dominic Howard – drums, percussions, human bones, synthesisers
[edit] Touring members
* Morgan Nicholls – keyboards, synthesisers, backing vocals, bass guitar (2004, 2006 - present)
Nicholls played bass guitar at V Festival on 2004, when Wolstenholme broke his wrist during a football match with Didz Hammond from The Cooper Temple Clause.
* Dan "the Trumpet Man" Newell – trumpet (2006 - present)
Edit: Its disgusting how diverse they all are in their skills
Does anyone remember that ONE moment at Vegoose when Matt was soloing on the mirror-finish guitar? The stage was dark except for a solitary white spotlight on him. He hit a high note, and while he let it linger, held the guitar up, reflecting a single beam of bright white light out into the dark sky?
I saw them preform on Abby Road too and there was a Dj with them that seemed very much a part of the band. He's also in every other video of theirs you just have to look on the right side of the drummer. he is usually in all black and kinda does hide behind a lot of the equipment. Listen to there music there are all kinds of electronic noises in there music and at least they do that shit live and not just play it in the background off some master recording. Someone please post a video where you can see this dude I know there are plenty I just don't know how to post vids.
damn dude I guess you were too far away too but when he did that he was pointing the light at a plane flying over. I know you remember seeing planes flying over the field all weekend. I don't think most people cought that but I made sure everyone around me did cause I was like HOLY FUCK HE'S SHINNING IT AT A PLANE!! then everyone around me just started trippin out it was awesome!! That was one of the most originally cool things I've ever seen at a show and will never forget no matter how many drugs I did that weekend. EPIC
