Brahms is without a doubt one of the best composers of all time. You think you know classical music until you delve into the Brahms symphonies and you're like wow this is beautiful.
Amy, this is for you:

I never appreciated Mozart in my youth. I thought it was very light, superficial music made for frolicking in the flowers. I loved Beethoven. Beethoven was dark, passionate, revolutionary. A deaf man raging against the darkness. The triumph of will over catastrophe.
The problem with Mozart, aside from a few notable pieces(Requiem Mass, etc.), is that his music does not seem to express any element of pain. Mozart was simply a young prolific genius who was too busy writing music and having fun to have much capacity for pain. I yearn now for such clean thinking.

Good luck to you too
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
I mean... you don't have to post every song you listen to...
