Some of them might not be headliner worthy (anymore)/never reunite/never come back to Coachella but who knows/just for fun.

I love Arcade Fire, but I can't justify having them as headliners. They're not Radiohead yet and they won't sell a show. One album with radio cred, a la Muse, and they're a headliner.
Pink Floyd (and Abba obviously) I couldn't take seriously as a pick.
So now we're down to a bunch of 80s bands, The Killers, JA and Beck. I'm a big fan of having bands at Coachella that are relevant today, so I went with Beck and Jane's Addiction (who are closer to relevant than the 80s options).
New Order and The Smiths I thought of putting on PYH #3, but the former I wasn't sure was a headliner and the latter I was just sick of hearing about. But I voted them both as well.
Most of the other options would not satisfy me as headliners, although I wouldn't really complain if Arcade Fire headlined.
Ron Paul 2012!
Death Cab for Cutie/Magik Magik Orchestra
some other bands
No, he wouldnt headline for sure, which is good, he hasnt been in a "headlining" mood as of late. Beck @ Coachella would be soul crushing for me, if he's as good as my Chicago shows then we're in for a treat. The Modern Guilt songs are just so perfect live, "chemtrails" is fucking INTENSE
