Too soon for me to judge. It sounds ok right now.
Check out Sleeping is Giving in for great mixes and other cool stuff
I think his voice sounds a little rough, and I can't say that I'm a fan right now.
I've only listened once but I like it. From the little bit of lyrics I picked out it sounds like something he wrote just after the last tour or about the mental place he was entering. He says 'wave goodbye, wish you well" then evolved instantly saying "i've become something else". Entering a new phase in life both personally with marriage and professionally with new projects, ideas and here with a new sound. I really like when it gets all quiet for a second around 1:57 and he declares "i am home, I am free". There is definitely a contentness that he seems to be celebrating.
Just one listen but I like it. It's different. I might hate in a month, we'll see. I do like Copy of A and Come Back Haunted, it will be interesting to see how this fits in with the rest of the album and how it's tracked too. I give it a solid 7 out of 10. It's pretty good.
I like that the 4 songs I've heard all sound pretty different, which is definitely not something I could about anything from The Slip.
5/15-17/15 - Psycho CA @ Observatory // 5/22/15 - Laura Jane Grace @ Hollywood Forever Cemetary // 5/27/15 - Neutral Milk Hotel @ Warner Grand Theater
6/3/15 - Sufjan Stevens @ Dorothy Chandler // 7/15/15 - Shellac @ Regent // 7/31/15 - Melt Banana w/Torche @ Roxy
Very impressive HG .... cr****
Have Another Hit Of Colorado Sunshine
I know. I was able to copy and paste the links to all the pics and wrap them in the IMG code rather quickly.
I don't hate "Everything" but this video is pretty funny
Meh. The song is better than the video. A bunch of animated .gif's that go on too long and don't really fit the song. The only thing amusing in that video is the cartoon of Trent on the unicorn. We get it, Trent is the prince of darkness and he isn't allowed to try anything that bright.
Actually, calling this poppy is an overstatement.

I really like "Everything."
The lyrics seem to suggest that Trent is in a different place in his life, and how different this track is from previous work seems to suggest that as well.
I need two tickets to Vegas. Hopefully they release some more. Anyone - please let me know if you've two extra...
fuckin' with the lights on
Now that I've finally listened to "Everything", I am not convinced that Trent Reznor isn't attempting to troll the internet...
It's kind of awful.
Stream from Rock'N'Heim Fest (Reflecting The Chrome of course has the DL links for audio and video, too).
This stream had a neat birds eye camera angle as well.
Skip to 1:23:10 for Trent getting pissed at the stage crew
"Get your fucking shit together"
"Wake the fuck up"

Damn, it comes off like a rehearsal during that part. He's definitely distracted well into Hand That Feeds. Wearing a hoodie too. That's cool, work out those kinks in Europe. I thought I heard something negative about Pukkelpop, anyone have info on that?
brand new NIN
U2: 6/28 @ United Center
Lollapalooza: 8/1 @ Grant Park
Well, it could be even worse. TENSION might be even a more complicated set up (even though this whole stage seems very tedious itself).
