Cut Copy is my new favorite band.

Extenuating circumstances (wink, wink) probably helped me come to this decision, so I won't make it completely official until I see them again. But goddamn they completely killed it.

I didnt want to spend precious dancing time shooting too much, but I shot this to give everyone a sense of what it felt like to be at this set. Just incredible

Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.

Even though I didn't have a great spot I thought they really worked in The Mojave. Everyone in the tent was dancing and that wouldn't have happened on the outdoor

Indeed the best set of the weekend, one of the best ever. For once being in the middle of the tent was the best place to be IMO. Peope were going batshit insane everywhere. Only show I have ever been to where at the height of my jump I could not see a singe person in any direction not doing the same thing. EVERYONE was getting down.

The collective (and unified) jumping up and down created a whole other dimension that I never experienced before. It was sublime, divine.

Such a RAD set, definitely my favorite of the weekend. The energy in their was insane, it felt really cool to have everybody so into it.

this exactly, and I doubt that the same intense atmosphere can be recreated at a regular show of theirs

The fake smile at the 1:24 mark is the worst I've ever seen; how could you not be excited to be there?

So none of my friends went to the Cut Copy set but I ended up next to some really awesome people. Singing along and dancing with them to "Need You Now" was one of my favorite moments of the festival

Yeah, those sassy non dancer girls are DUMB. GTFO!

Anyway, CUTTTTTTTCOPYYYY omg. I wore my CC shirt I got at Coach 2008 for Friday this year Their 2008 set was amazing, but this shit was BALLISTIC. When they started with "Nobody Lost, Nobody Found" I seriously got so excited I almost peed, haha. (Granted, I had just chugged a large beer.)

It made my heart want to burst to see everyone else loving them as much as I do, and singing along to every song. As others have said, the power of JUMPING! It's a thing. I really vividly remember bouncing in perfect time to the 4 little beats before the climax of "Lights and Music" and then everything just exploding around me. So incredible <3333

I was really hoping to hear "Blink and You'll Miss a Revolution", but I guess we can't have everything we want.... Looking forward to the next time, Cutters.
