Adieu, my top five favorite band. You gave me three great nights (and one shit-filled day - not your fault - in the O.C.) this year. Will wait patiently for your return and new album. Until then ...

:22 = energy that will never be beat. TI was pretty awesome, but nothing like the Mojave
God that video is good. I saw them for the first time ever about a month ago in Portland. I don't think I have ever danced that hard at a show before. I had no idea it was going to be that high energy or fun. When I listen to them on record they seem a little chill, but live they turn it up. The singer humped his equipment half the time and every song was great. They kind of played the crowd as if we were watching electronic dance music with big buildups and drops, only with the kind of stuff they do. It's one of the best concerts I've ever been to and I was soaked afterward. Must see again! Hopefully at an outdoor festival.
I must have looked as if I were a diseased creature. Covered in cigarette cartons like bird shit, smeary colored face, drinking wine out of a pair of sweat pants. A dead baby hung off the side of my head -- crying to get high on smokes and glue.

i missed an amazing show didnt i :/
Came to wait for The Aquabats, was absolutely blown away. It was my first time ever hearing these guys but that set was some of the most fun I had all weekend.
Missing these guys in 2008 is my biggest Coachella regret. All i have heard is how good they were.
Cut Copy always puts me in summer mood even if its winter![]()
That new song is fun.

Really? It is a record I consistently revisit time and time again and always love it. It hooked me from my first listen though. Its not as "in your face dancey" as their prior stuff, that is for sure. But I feel like it was a very mature step for the band and the song-writing was top notch. Some of the songs are just catchy as sin too. Definitely take another listen.
What the FUCK is going on with their FB page.
Their cover and profile photo now are blank white images with the caption FREE YOUR MIND.
Then they posted this photo to their wall with the caption LMSY Pitchfork...but they're not on the bill for Pitchfork?
