Staind's Break The Cycle was a really good cd... Limp Bizkit were big in thier own way...The Rollin shit was lame....but 3 Dollar Bill, songs like Counterfeit and Stuck are awesome.
Riot Fest: 9/11-13 @ Douglas Park
Matt Nathanson: 10/19 @ Majestic Theatre
I've seen drowning pool and they fuckin rock!
eat sleep dab repeat
Some of these bands aren't even really nu-metal.
the singer of drowning pool is dead.
they were alright.
that song 'bodies' was pretty terrible- that other song 'tear away' was okay. it was a bit more grungy than nu metal.
I had the misfortune of being thirteen or fourteen and completely incapacitatedly stoned, in the skydome, and completely unable to leave during limp bizkit's set. it was like watching a car crash- it almost hurt physically to watch, but I just couldn't walk away. awful stuff, but it was late enough in their career that whoever the tour producer wisely all but drowned out the band with explosions.
nu metal seems like the worst music in history until you listen to
b) a chad kroeger side/solo project
but it definitely breaks like... top five
I've never heard of "cold" or of "trust company"
who the hell uses that term now a days.
I always hated that word.
I always labeled those bands as Hard Rock.
I voted slipknot.
Röyksopp, FC Kahuna, Télépopmusik, RJD2, Futue Sound of London, The Avalanches, 808 State, Zero 7, Mr. Scruff, Moby (Live), Moloko,
COACHELLA 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
I'm down with the sickness.
Are we putting the band that is most awesome at sucking? I remember hearing all this crap in high school and wondering why it was popular. Whiney rock stars is what they are.
I must go with POD because they both RAP and ROCK about Jesus. And Christian music is amazing, especially Christian nu-metal.
Slipknot was the last big nu-metal band, probably.
If this poll were on atease, the choices would include Muse, Coldplay, Placebo, Christopher O'Rly, and "The Deftones"

12/3 Colleen Green, Deep Fields @ Harvard & Stone, 12/5 OOIOO @ Getty, 12/14 Chvrches @ Fonda, 12/16 Jennylee @ The Echo, 12/31 A Place to Bury Strangers @ Viper Room
this was a bad time to be a blossoming, male junior high student. oh the music i listened to...
btw slipknot were definitely nu metal brah
The Knot had the best live show. But yeah they're all pretty much old news...
But Deftones still rocks my socks, but I wouldn't consider them Nu Metal

slipknot in that it's so amazing they have such a huge fan base. even still. wtfuck, kids?
your ≠ you're
[boarderwoozel3] dying or tim & eric
[boarderwoozel3] I'll take dying
The correct answer is obviously fucking Slipknot.
I'm legitiamatly upset that Linkin Park is in 3rd place.
note: I'm not a metal fan... at all. but slipknot puts on one of the greatest, most intense live sets i've ever seen.
