Just curious since there isnt a Rage type of band, or a Daft Punk, Radiohead, or even Madonna?
Do you think people will go just on name?
My guess would have to be each night would vary from 20,000-35,000

I would guess 45,000-50,000 assuming they don't add anyone major. But who knows.

25-30,000 for Friday, 40-45,000 for Saturday and Sunday
Anyone remember if and how fast last year's pre-sale sold out? Cuz it's 3 hours now and there's still tickets available. Me thinks Golden Voice should have done the pre-sale pre-lineup... Unless of course they fully expected an even bigger backlash that way than what they got from just the lineup announcement.
Why does everyone think Friday attendance will be so low? Friday is my favorite of all the days.
If the line up stays as it is right now... anywhere between 40,000 and 50,000 all three days.
friday wont sell out saturday will . im not sure about sunday

GOOD TIMES!
A lot of people here in San Diego and people I know back home are buying friday tickets for Jack Johnson, at my school(CSUSM) girls are going nuts for JJ, and are buying their tickets for friday. So I'm thinking it will still be 40000-50000K. Expect a diff. crowd for friday Is what i'm thinking.
I go with around 40.000 all days, maybe Sunday, a little more crowded but definetely not like past years. No day will sell out. There were only a few years which some day sold out, it's not really common.
Anyway, it'll depend on the late additions, I think they are coming, at least a couple of big names.
Maybe this is GV thing to slow down the scalpers, big names announced later = less time for scalping. My tought.

Correct statement :friday has the weakest headliner in coachella history. Lame, but hopefully fatboy slim will be playing at the same time. I dont go to coachella to get pussy, I go to see some dope music, i bring the pussy with me. yes it would be amazing if it was a mistake and they erased it, but yea, might as well have a good time anyway.
p.s still lurkin
This is the BIG question that GV and Paul T want to know.
Last year sold out largely due to RATM. I am not a fan, but I recognize the simple fact that they are responsible for selling at least 20K tix. NIN, DM and others certainly follow suit. This year there is no one like that and competition has increased immensely.
Personlly I think this is a big gamble that will fail. They will sell a max of 35K.
Perhaps we should start a betting pool. Could be difficult though if GV decides not to announce numbers.
Jack Johnson's official website has Coachella listed as having a 50,000 person capacity per day. I'm not sure where they got that number or if it's accurate, but I feel like that is less than previous years.
That's is just setting the bar low for the expectations game.
The only other possibility is that the local city councils and Police Departments made GV lower attendance due to last year's aggro. This would in turn: lower $$ generated which then would affect who they could book. Could be part of the answer for this year's line-up.
another sellout when it's all said and done.
You bring it with you? Cool! Do you have one of these: http://www.fleshlight.com/
There is no name like RATM this year, so I'm guessing about 50,000
If they're lucky
i don't think it's going to be as crowded as last year, and yes friday will suck when jack johnson takes the stage. the rest of friday might be alright, if some jack fans show late.
all 3 days will sell out
*based upon tedious fact checking.
