Ok I'm gonna rant a little.
I get in the standby room at 11am sharp on my phone. It's sitting idly while I continue to work and glance over to see if I got through to the purchase screen.
Waiting, waiting, waiting... an hour passes and I take my lunch break at 12. Still nothing from the phone. I get my laptop out (this is about 12:20) and I get in the waiting room on my laptop also. No more than 5 minutes passes and the laptop gets through to the purchase screen.
So obviously I missed out on car camping by that point and had to fork over extra dough for a shuttle pass I don't need just to secure the GA ticket. Seriously..... How did my phone not connect before the laptop? This makes it seem like goldenvoice absolutely doesn't care about customers. How are you going to serve someone who just showed up to the back of the line (my laptop) when someone has been waiting over an hour (my phone)
You know they must be making a shit ton on these $375 GA passes. My point being- this company GV should spend some money to rent more servers before doing these sales to prevent customer frustration. As it is, the website basically undergoes a DDOS attack twice a year (presale and general sale) and whoever is lucky enough to get in gets a ticket.
Imagine you walk into a Subway to get a sandwich, you get in line and the worker begins serving people behind you. That's how GV operates these sales.
